Well, I've had quite a journey over the last several weeks. During that time, I went to the hospital to detox from alcohol, and I completed a twenty one day inpatient stay at an alcohol and drug abuse treatment center. That's an interesting way to ring in the Spring right? LOL. In all seriousness, my time in rehab was amazing and life-changing. I learned volumes about this disease that I have known as alcoholism, and I am so glad I finally faced it. I feel like a new person both physically and emotionally. Life feels new to me - a little scary and a lot exciting.
p.s. I am now on my 49th day of sobriety. I'm gonna celebrate with a cold glass of Diet Dr. Pepper.

That is awesome L_B. I'm so proud of you and I'm glad you finally took the time to do something good for yourself. You are a better person than you realize and you deserve the very best out of life. ^Admitedly, that is not my foot, but that's okay isn't it? I'm about 80 miles from the nearest beach. Gotta make allowances for these things sometimes.
