I got engaged over christmas...
. Planning to get married next year. I'm going to be a wife. Weird. I was forced (by my sister-in-law to be) to go to a wedding fair a few days ago and god, was that a painful experience. I made sure I put my grumpiest goth face on in order to prevent all the preppy ponces there from talking to me. And, by Jesus...it worked! all the ponces thought that my future sister-in-law was the bride to be...obviously she happily pointed out that it was actually me. Faces fell. You could see that they were thinking something along the lines of: 'What the fuck am I meant to do with this one? It hardly looks like something that is ever going to don a wedding dress.' And I won't be! At least, not a white meringue, which seems to be the attire of choice for most brides. I want this one!
