just got back from an indoor soccer game that i just played and i dont think i can move. i've just started up a new season with my company team and damn, i got out of shape quick!

but its fun to do a team sport again and get my competitive juices flowing again. the game ended a tie, 2-2 despite the fact that we were a player short the whole game...so not bad.

this weekend i went to a strip bar in manhattan with my friend-with-benefits and we had a really fun time. and spent a lot of money! she and i had some simultaneous lap dances. i think the strippers got a kick out the fact that she was so into it. they were letting her fondle their boobs. i was a bit jealous. and one of them took a real shine to her and wouldnt leave her side. it was cute.

A girl I spent some time with this weekend sent me a text yesterday apologizing for being so loud during sex.

I love those kind of texts.

Black Snake Moan is great movie for two reasons.

1. The soundtrack kicks ass.

2. Cristina Ricci is sexy.

Check out the work of photographer Erica Simone who did a series of self portraits which challenges New Yorkers' feelings on nudity in public.

I took a bunch of photos of this band called Lily & the Parlour Tricks in 35mm and they liked them and they posted them on their Facebook page. They're a 50's influenced band so I guess they liked the retro feel.

Those of you who read my blog around new years might remember that I jokingly said that my new year's resolution was to be able to sing as well as the guy from Grizzly Bear. Well even though that hasnt happened yet I did surprise myself by learning to sing and play Ready, Able surprisingly well tonight.

For me this is progress.
