Hurray for a better day!

I put my nose to the pavement and I sniffed out every place from the west to the east of downtown Toronto. I scored a job! I am going to be an Assistant Manager. I need to start somewhere.... I have only worked in independent stores as a Manager and I need to learn the "big box" way of things. Soooo Happy!

Woke up, halled ass to see Rise of the Lion. So worth the hallin' of said ass. Now, in China Town waiting for Michael to get some subs... Mmmm Vietnamese Subs! Life aint so bad. Xoxo


Was riding around and went by this place I use to work at only to see the door covered up and the windows empty... all I could think of was KARMA IS A BITCH!


Been recharging my batteries and it has been EXACTLY what I need!


Oh, and here are some pictures from when I went to one of my 4 interviews I have had... 3 for one company though... ... Just waiting for the bus on a early morning that was suppose to be my day off! Grrr!

The new subway cars in Toronto are awesome f.y.i! Instead of a bunch of little carts connected in a long line... They made it only long open cart with accordion like connectors that help the tube bend. It is SWEET!


I have been spending a lot of time with my one and only lately and I could not be any happier!

So here I am... Jobless... hehe... It has been the first time in a LONG time that I have not been employed. I doubt it will last for long... My last job was obtained 4 days after the one before it... I know I am a good worker and can put the action up to back up my mouth.

But really.... I would love to just not have to work for a little bit. Shit might get tight... but wtf. I am 28 and all I have done with my life has been work to make someone else rich. I have impeccable skill sets and I am a sponge retaining and applying anything that is asked of me. ANYWAYS.... fuck all that jazz.


I have what I need. I am Happy, Have an amazing Husband,

Live in an amazing city,

A roof and rent to pay it this month.... Food in the fridge... smile on my face. What else could I ask for.

I am not going to stress... Now is the time to take a moment to STOP. Finally, the time to relax. I will be active in my pursue of employment... But I am not gonna kill myself to do so. Life has just calmed right down... Need to enjoy it while I can...

First things first.... Enjoying a day off... scratch that.. not a day off... Enjoying THE day! With the hubby. In bed watching Star Trek as per usual... hehe love lazy days.... Maybe get a few pictures done... Get a bike ride in... enjoy the day.

Then tomorrow I think I need to go to the beach! I want to just lay in the sun... enjoy the last bit of the summer!

Then after that is anyones guess... and I like it that way.

Sorry I have been M.I.A ....

Life could not be anymore upside down then it is right now... I have successfully ended a 2 year working relationship that was volatile from the beginning (When the boss lady grabbed my arm and yelled at me because something was not being done right). I have 2 more days of work left @ this place and I have no job lined up yet to follow....

So, I have dealt with it like any smart adult at the sweet age of 28! Oh yeah f.y.i.... It was my birthday on August. 22nd.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

So yeah.... I have been putting out tons of resumes out. Am also going to my 3rd interview for the same company this coming up friday! So sweet... and an interview on Wednesday. SO things are rolling.
I love how I wanted to be more active on here and then I am M.I.A for a month. That's life though. What you want is not always what you need, or for that matter what you get.

Oh my, what a day.... what a day. Got to shoot with the lovely Kayla Whynter today and I couldn't ask for a better shoot. Just herself, the Hubby and I. Going to one of the largest cemeteries in the Toronto area called Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
