We went to Disneyland this weekend.
It ROCKED. Yes, it is the most EVIL place on Earth, but it still rocked. We oogie boogied through the Haunted Mansion, had dinner at the Blue Bayou *orgasm*, and had the best time with the best people and enjoyed excellent weather, and shopped and walked until we were drained of our last ounce of energy.

Singer-actress Courtney Love was arrested for allegedly being under the influence of a narcotic after police responded to a burglary call, and was taken to a treatment center, according to published reports.
Love, 39, was found early Thursday outside a Los Angeles home where she had allegedly broken the windows in an attempt to enter, police spokesman Don Cox said. She was arrested and booked for investigation of using illegal drugs, posted $2,500 bail and was released.
Hours later, police and paramedics in Beverly Hills responded to an emergency call and took a woman to a hospital for treatment, according to a story in Friday's editions of the Los Angeles Times.
Law enforcement sources told the newspaper that the woman was Love and that she had overdosed. It was not immediately known what her condition was.
Messages left for Love's publicist and her lawyer were not returned.

I need to wash my hands more often when I go out in public. Seriously. People are nasty. There are so many germs and infections and gross cooties that can get on you when you go out to a store or a mall or a restaurant. Apparently, something must have attached itself to me during the weekend because I woke up several times last night with a very sore throat.
Now, don't get me wrong, I'm a generally healthy person, and a very clean one. But I guess it's not enough to wash my hands a few times a day. I guess I've got to be one of those neurotic people who carries a handful of antibacterial towlettes in her purse in order to get through a weekend of antique shopping and dining out in order to stay protected from all the disgusting filth out there. See, because I never get sick when I stay home a lot. Oh, and did you know that the largest catalyst for transferring germs from one person to another is not public bathrooms, but the handles on shopping carts? Yep.
In any case, I'm home in bed on a Tuesday. Day One of the first Fall cold. Neat.
