Hello my pretties!
Monday is the start of a busy as fuck week for me! got the biggest party of the year this Saturday and planning has (as usual) been left to the last minute.
My weekly schedule is as follows -
Monday - Work during day, finish at 5 and rush to the engraver to get a plaque engraved, then from there to costco to pick up bulk lots of cups, doritos, chips, toilet paper and salsa. then home to put another coat of varnish on the trophy I made for the event (its kind of a yearly drinking-sports-day, with a trophy awarded to the winning team) maybe squeeze in some new donkey kong before passing out (awesome game)
Tuesday - Work, then a meeting in the city at 6.30 that will probably keep me busy for a few hours, home, another coat of varnish on the trophy, then sleep
Wednesday - Work, then supposed to go to the night market but I think I'm gonna skip it to make sure everything is in place for the weekend, I may have to drive a whiteboard, folding tables and a foosball table over to where the event is being held, then possibly a trip to k-mart to buy whatever else we need (batteries, table tennis equipment, gazeebo's etc.), also take the empty beer kegs to the brewery and give them to the guys to fill with beer
Thursday - Work, then out for a chicken Parma for this weeks Parma Daze review
Friday - Work, then pick up as many kegs as possible from the brewery and go hook them up to the beer fridge, then out for a christmas party.
Saturday - Morning - fight against a hangover, go to party and make sure everything is in place, (put up whiteboard, set up gazeebo, tables etc) - Noon - Start drinking, then continue drinking until I don't feel feelings anymore
Sunday - Cease to exist
Monday - Work
*deep breath*
So thats my week! I'm sure there is stuff I've forgotten that I will remember on Saturday morning, but so far thats the plan.
but the boobs calm me ....

If theres a better use for the hula hoop I haven't seen it!
In past-news, I met my mates new unofficial girlfriend on the weekend, we played 'cranium' and drank cider - good night, great game and I think she passes the porch test.
Also, the new Donkey Kong game is great - hard as balls but pretty awesome

Happy birthday buddy!
Put up the Christmas tree last night, unfortunately haven't gotten any Christmas shopping done yet and since most of my family has birthdays around the end of the year I have totally used up all my good present ideas. I'm screwed!
Some people reading this may know that I (along with two friends) run an online T-shirt store called Inner Coma. its not a replacement for our jobs or anything, but we get enough cash in to throw a kick-ass party once a year, well that time of year has rolled around and the party is in a week and a half, a few days ago we brewed 150L of beer (about 40 gal for the Americans)

brewing the beer - yummmm
we have decided the theme this year is 'drinking games' we so far have Beer pong, Drinking Foosball, Flip Cup, Boat Race, The Jug game and Drinking Singstar - but my question for you guys is what drinking games should we play at a drinking party? preferably it should be one where a clear 'winner' is defined at the end, as there may be a trophy awarded at the end of the night.
I've been on SG a lot more lately, getting the most out of my subscription in the last few weeks - its been fun
I still reckon they should have an in-browser chat with your friends system though (kinda like FB chat) that would be a fun option.
hmmm thats about it!
here are some boobs (we all know thats what you're here for)

oh! Also! I'm in desperate need of someone good at math to help me out with something - I have a topic at the maths group and I would be eternally grateful if you would take a look for me!!

Lots of time without bloggage! I beg your forgiveness
So whats new in the life of Leebus? hmm Parma Daze is still going well, last week we struck up a deal with Melbournepubs.com (a MASSIVE site for melbournites) to do some cross promotion between websites - which is definitely good for us, my email account exploded with people suggesting pubs for us ... quite awesome.
Other than work and sleep my life has been pretty much COD: Black ops oriented - if anyone plays on PS3 and feels like some multiplayer fun post your username here and i'll add you, (or you can add me, PS3 gamertag: Hinxey)
hmmmm what else can i show you guys ...
here is some promo design i did recently for the club i do design for - they were quite happy with it, which is good!

I enjoy doing work for Deluxe as they are pretty easygoing with what they want - they basically just give me a general theme idea and let me do my own thing, which is amazingly refreshing when compared to some other clients who send back 50 revisions and change requests until it is exactly how they think it should be, even if how they want it to be isn't possible
My next job for them is for their NYE night, It's Vegas themed so i have to run with that - any ideas?
what else what else. oh! i started another blog - Zeldamania, In my non COD playing time i am playing every Zelda game from start to finish and documenting it there - its not as good as Parma Daze but feel free to check it out!
So thats me! i cant think of anything else to write so I'm opening up the floor to questions
ask anything you want and I promise to answer truthfully!
but enough about me - how are you doing?

pics of life -

I went to a bar on the weekend called 'The Randy Dragon' - it had a terrarium full of facehuggers. awesome.

another bar on that nights pub crawl was called 'Biero' - they had a beer on the menu called 'Sink the Bismarck' worth $200! w.t.f. does it come with a blowjob!?

saw this cabbage at the supermarket - looked interesting so i took a picture, A guy stocking the onions 2 shelves over saw me and (quite seriously) said 'HEY. no photos of the stock' ... i was in shock, i didn't know corporations were so touchy about their veggies

I went to North Dakota a few years back with my mate Matty, on the way back through duty free we got two bottles of Captain Morgan, mine was gone within days of getting back from the states but he managed to sit on his bottles for about 4 years. we convinced him on a lovely saturday a few weeks ago to crack one open and we spent the day in the backyard sipping morgan & coke and talking shit. such an awesome afternoon.

Matt (with the cup) and Shanan ... looking at this photo i wonder why we didnt get into the jacuzzi. morgan in the jacuzzi wouldve rocked.

coming home from work one day i saw this cloud over target. doesnt it look like target has been hit with a tactical nuclear strike?!

I buy a new Xbox 360 (one of the pretty slim ones) and i spend all my time playing a game released over 10 years ago. ironyyyy.
SO thats a brief glimpse into my life as it is! apologies that i haven't had time to hang out here much lately. Its not that im doing anything exciting, time just seems to slip away lately. I took a sick day last friday (even though i was perfectly healthy
) and spent it laying in bed, playing video games. I love these days so much I think it should be mandatory that everyone take one at least once a month, we can call it 'sanity leave' as it helps me stay sane.
other than that you can read about my culinary travels o'er on Parma Daze which is still going strong, I can see from my google analytics (which I am OBSESSED with) that I get a lot of referrals from SG, so thanks for checking it out my lovelies, much love
thats about it from me!
My blog-ly question for you today is - What keeps you sane?
Cheers!

EDIT!
i came across these images just now ... friggin high-larious!

Enjoy!

Enjoy!

This show is my new addiction - I picked up the first three seasons in a 'buy two get one free' deal and have been trying to squeeze as much in as I can, I'd only ever seen an episode here and there but didnt fully discover it till my flight back from LA when they had 4 episodes on the in flight tv-thing, i watched those same 4 episodes at least 5 times during the 20 hour flight, absolutely loved it! in my mind one of the best comedy shows currently on TV (up there with 'Archer', and i enjoyed 'Better off Ted' before it got cancelled)
other than that life is the same, parmadaze.com is getting more and more popular by the day, I see it get linked on other websites all the time now which is a massive buzz
work is super busy, as is my after-work social calendar, which is both fun and amazingly exhausting at the same time, i cant remember the last night i just layed in bed, played video games and watched TV with my lady - majorly craving one of those nights at the moment! if nothing changes i should get some of that time in tonight.
id put up some more photos, but i dont have none!
until next time
Love you all! xx
nothing is going on .... things are boring!
twas my birthday a couple of weeks ago, and I got good and hammered (as one does when turning 27 ... I'm so friggin old!) but i did manage to score an xbox 360s, an ipad case, a JB Hi Fi voucher and a TARDIS usb hub from my loved ones
but as I was saying, im definitely going through a 'life is boring' patch so I dont have much else to report, Parma Daze is still going strong and gives me something to look forward too every week but Question for the day ....
What do you do when you're stuck in a rut?
i take a lot of random photos on my iphone, ive decided ill post them here (they don't end up anywhere else!)

Counter Strike is finally out for Mac!! installed it on my work computer yesterday (shhhh)

Stayed in a hotel on the weekend for the 2 year anniversary with the fiancee, photo of my beautiful city - greatest city in the world

I was working behind a bar on Friday night, Jager trains a plenty

Blurry photo of the TARDIS usb hub i scored for my b'day

The fiancee waiting for people to arrive at my birthday party

My party animal friends invited me over then fell asleep watching 'man vs wild'

I managed to win a camera on one of those 'stacker' machines they have at shopping centers!

I was bored so i decided to do a taste test between the GOOD captain morgan, and the crappy jamaican one (the only one you can get in australia
)

i got bored. i made cupcakes. carrot cupcakes with lemon icing and brown sugar.

what else are you gonna do with an iPad?

house sitting animals for the parentals while they were in europe, had to text them this photo to prove they were still alive

supposedly the 'best parma in geelong' ... we found a screw in it. a metal screw.

pretty sure thats a goatse on my hamburger box

i got bored again, i made a hamburger with fried potatoes and mushroom sauce

we have stray kitties at work now. theyre cute.
so thats life!!
ill try to update my photo-ings more often

Had the future in-laws over for dinner last night, I made roast pork with honey carrots, roast potato, roast pumpkin & cauliflower, with a dessert of honeycomb chocolate mousse - delish!
other than that things are the same, got drunk on the weekend, getting drunk THIS weekend and reviewing the European Bier Cafe's Chicken parmigiana for the website tonight (but shhhhh don't tell them or they might catch on we are coming
)
the radio show went well and was heaps of fun, it was only a community radio station but hopefully its a sign things are getting bigger - who knows, maybe one day ill be able to eat chicken parma's for a living!
i am totally stoked about the news of the remaking of Goldeneye for wii - that game was a highlight of my childhood and playing multiplayer goldeneye cemented many of the friendships i still hold dear today.
anywho, thought id give a quick update and howdy to everyone
i may not post often but i do lurk almost every day, so feel free to say hi! i should respond with lightning quick speed
oh and PS. i got my hands on a personal soundtrack t shirt (as seen on the big bang theory)
its absolutely epic, I dont think im ever going to wear another shirt till the day i die

WOW im happy

as some of you may know, I run a website/blog called Parma Daze , in which myself and a group of mates go to a different pub in Melbourne each week, order a Chicken Parmagiana (the american variation would be 'Chicken Parmesan' ... kinda) and then give it a review and a score, which goes on the website
WELL i get a message at about 10 oclock on saturday night from a girl that runs the 'food & wine' segment on a Geelong radio station (2nd biggest town in Victoria behind melbourne, where we are) and she said that they are running a 'best pub meal in Geelong' competition, and when they judge the winner, they want to get us down to review their winner, put it on the website, then have us as guest hosts on the radio show to tell the people who we are and what we do
*happy dance*

i was planning a big holiday blog, but i STILL haven't taken the photos off my camera, and as im at work far away from the data cable i've come down with a massive case of the CBF's
so! life is still chugging along, work is the same, but i seem to be catching up with old friends more often lately, which is good as I was starting to feel like I was losing touch with everyone! but a few weeks ago we organised a catch up barbecue in the burnt-out shell of my former local pub, had a chat with the owners (good friends) and we had such a good time we decided to make it a monthly 'second friday of every month' event! (woo)
oh! I got stuck in an elevator for the first time on the weekend! and i blame it all on Jersey Shore.
let me explain
we (me, the lady, the birthday girl the birthday girls boyfriend, and a few other friends) at a mates place for some pre-drinks before we went out, this started at about 2 in the afternoon, so by the time 8 oclock rolled around we were well on our way to being drunk, and of course, MTV had to have a marathon of Jersey Shore (quite possibly the best show to watch drunk) so we were all hopped up on jersey shore action, ready to hit the clubs and fist pump like champs, which we did, consistently and with gusto, i even (by act of god) found a massive gaudy silver bracelet on the footpath early on which i rocked on my fist pump wrist for the rest of the night
at about 2 am, a few had already gone home, so 5 of us very drunkenly piled into an elevator in the carpark so we could go up to the car and head home. as soon as the elevator started moving my mate Shanan yelled 'FIST PUMPIN LIKE CHAMPS' and started jumping up and down, fist pumping his heart out. all the movement caused the elevator to stop dead, at 2 am there were no staff at the garage to hear the alarm bell when we pushed it, so we called the emergency response button and someone at a call center answered, he said that the lifts usually reset themselves after about 10 minutes, so sit tight. we waited ten minutes & called him back, he said that we had to wait for the technician who was at least 45 minutes away
so we got comfy, laid down on the floor, bear in mind i had just consumed copious amounts of booze and my need to relieve myself was quickly becoming an issue
BUT after about another 30 minutes of waiting the doors magically popped open & we were freed. kind of an anti climactic ending but it definitely put a dampener on the evening!
I just hope it be a lesson to all you kids out there, fist pumping like a champ in an elevator may seem like a good idea, but people can get hurt.
in other news, My parma review blog is going strong! last week was a great one because i got a few good reviewers on board who seem to have joined the permanent roster
this wednesday we are hitting the Skinny Dog Hotel in Kew, a bit of a drive for us, but hoping itll be worth it, im hoping to someday soon organise a group road trip interstate to some of the country Australia pubs that claim to have the best/biggest parmas
so thats about it for my life! apologies that i havent been on much, i have missed my darling SG! if people have questions or anything feel free
love you all
P.S.
oh!! i forgot, i just found out Stephen Lynch is coming to melbourne *joygasm!!!* SO going to that!
