My vacation starts in four days. I will be leaving the United States for the first time.
Here are some other things I am looking forward to.

Also the new photo viewer sucks balls. And here is a fennec fox and bubbles.

I made my bestest friend Oui some very informative instructional diagrams on how she is to steal a red panda for me...

I can naturally make similar ones for any of you out there who would like to get me a red panda. Customized to your local red panda Loving zoo of course. With that said, it took me way too much time to make these for the um, "high quality" they are. I think I need a better hobby.
Oh and I made this plan too, but I am not sure it will work...

Nothing new to say, but look how adorable this face is...

And here is a doggy in the bath.

And here is a doggy in the bath.

I need a new camera that does not suck at low light.

I also need some talent too I guess. That would probably help more.
These kangaroos were being creepy all morning.

And finally here is a picture of Glitz because she is pretty.

So this one time, in Alabama... I met these otters.

I got to feed them and they were happy.

Then I ran out of quarters.

So sad. It was always destined to end this way.

Cloudy days end up with more crummy photographs than usual.

I still like this one though. They were running around insanely fast so I probably would not have gotten a good picture on a sunny day.
I guess while we are at it...

There were two quests I spent the last few months of 2012 working on.
One.
There were 17 red pandas born in North America in 2012, I knew where 15 of them were. So last week wandering around I saw something unusual in Wichita, Kansas. Three red pandas curled up in an adorable ball. How strange, red pandas hate each other and what zoo has more than two in a single exhibit? Then there was a fourth sleeping all alone and one in the pile popped her head up and I thought "she looks young." And worst of all I did that thing that no one does, I read the sign at the exhibit and there was this little post in the corner. Recent Births 7/3/2012. The last two!

Hooray! There they are keeping a close eye on dad. Because even though they are the best animal ever, dad is still a dick.
Quest Two.
It was more of a fall thing. I had a overpowering desire to see a red panda blended into the fall leaves. Too early or too late was all I could ever do. Harder than I thought as most zoos do not have live trees in their exhibits. But here we are in late January, all hope lost, the quest forgotten.

Who would have thought? And that is why we wander.
Other than that I went to see they sisters that stared my mad obsession.
Spark currently lives in Cleveland, Ohio and I have visited her before.

Last I heard, Ember was in Garden City, Kansas. No idea where that is? There is a reason, middle of no where South West Kansas. Traveled all the way out there to find her off exhibit until a new exhibit is finished. I hate how zoos never post anywhere what parts of the zoo is being redone. I can only recall one zoo that on their Web site had a list of animals that were off exhibit. Jerks. While my beloved Ember was not around, they had a second red panda exhibit where I met former flame Firecracker.

He is the oldest red panda, ever. He is 21 right now and from what I saw is more spry than others just hitting their teens. Still sad I traveled for 8 hours over 1031 miles to see Ember, but meh. Another day I suppose.
As with last time, go to This is England. Becuase she is the best.

Looks like it is that time again and I could not be happier...
Go now to This is England. Leave awesome comments because you know you want to. Who can say no to her?
