My head's cloudy, my eyelids are heavy, and my hands ache. But I made someone smile and that makes me smile, which makes it all better.

Next time you see one of your friends, find something about them that impresses you and compliment them on it. Just try it, even if it requires you to come out of your shell more than you are typically comfortable with. I swear the rewards are immeasurable. It's amazing how many people there are out there that never get to hear positive reinforcement about their lives. Every time someone offers me a compliment on my accomplishments, I feel an overwhelming desire to pass it on to someone else as soon as possible, to sort of keep the energy moving through everyone around me.

Einstein had a theory that we are all made up of small balls of energy all derived from the same force, and that eventually we would evolve to the point where we no longer needed our physical bodies. While I can't vouch for it's potential, I sure as hell find the concept pretty brilliant and beautiful. If this happened, there would be no need for irony or cynicism. We would all see into each other as we really were. Can you imagine a civilization so honest and genuine that it literally startles you? Until that time comes, I'm certainly gonna try my best to speed things along.
