I've been fond of the idea of screenplays as well, but found working on a concept book to be much easier. Unlike most people who say they've been working on something for 10 years with 50 pages, I managed to hammer out 180 in under a month. I still think of screenplays, though. What would yours be about?

Haha to Crash! I never even saw it and I was APPALLED (sp?) when it took over Brokeback. Wasn't that horrible? I mean ALL anyone was talking about that year was BM. I thought it was a shame. If you go back like 2 entries (I think?) I stated that I was so excited for the Oscars b/c of exactly what you said: I think all bets are off and its anyone's game. I personally think the supporting actor category is a joke with Downey and Ledger and think it's a damn shame there wasn't a secondary Milk nod.

I get ranty about this kind of stuff, sorry.

Fact: I am 1 in 65 million people or more who just didn't like The Dark Knight. I even tried to watch it a second time and fell asleep.
