DAY 12
Still no sugar or caffeine, and I feel totally normal. Yesterday we spent all day at the cinemas watching three movies in a row. It's become an annual tradition with me and the lady. We saw WANTED, GET SMART and HANCOCK. All were sufficient brain-wasting action films in their own right.
Today we spent all day upstate at a friend's amazing house for his annual Independence Day barbecue. Too much food was consumed, and my tummy might be hating me at the moment. But we laid in a hammock and had some serious family folk jam singalongs to Carter Family and INXS, so it was all worth it. And no ticks! There was also a huge dog named Jake. He was maybe the best part. I want to buy a house upstate with a big dog.
