Memorial Day = drinking
Even though I am going away soon.

It seems that what I thought was okay - traveling with my mum - is not.
I understand how he feels that I am using vacation days which are precious in the US with her takes away from what we can do.

But I can't stop this habit. I can't. I want to travel with my mom while I can. He is understanding, but I also understand why he is upset.

At lease right this moment I can't tell the difference.

I do understand. You want to spend what precious time you have with the people that love you the most. There is nothing wrong with that! I wish I even had that choice when it comes to my Dad, but thankfully my Mom's still alive and kicking, so I may file suit and hang with her whenever she feels up to traveling again.

That's your MOM! She's the only one you have. As only children, you and I both know how important Mom is...even more so because we don't have siblings to spend that time with, you know? How dare he get his panties in a bunch because of the way you choose to spend your vacation days! That makes me so angry.

Oh thaaaaat's what that was, haha. I did hear it, and was mildly confused and then forgot about it. I'm gonna try joyce leslie in white plains...if I can't find anything I might just fake having food poisoning and skip the whole to-do.

Have a wonderful weekend, enjoy this pretty weather we're having.

Thanks! I'm enjoying it. It's funny, I hate driving, but I'm loving riding. Everything looks different from the back of a bike.

Even though I spent lots of quality time with my mum, it was ever enough. She left us in 1990 at the age of 69 and still miss her everyday.
Spend as much time with yours as possible!!!
