I sometimes wonder how much you have to want and beg the universe for something before it finally listens.
And how can it ignore you when you have tears streaming down your face you want it so badly?

Almost every religion and belief system is based around asking the universe for what you want......so why doesn't it always work? And when it does work is it just coincidence?

I will keep my mind focused and keep wishing in the meantime.

booooyyyy do I wish I had those answers.

maybe the universe is smarter than we are..it must know something we don't.
then again perhaps it's only chaos theory

every time I have these thoughts I just end up in a vicious philosophy circle.

I'm going to get high and contemplate this. I may be back. Or pass out in a pile of corn nuts.

Maybe wanting and wishing and intentioning and any other ing has nothing to do with it. How often do we see people who have something that most would nearly kill for and it means nothing to them? How many do you know who strive and pray and hope for something and never realize their wish?

I know its not particularly comforting but my own view is that the universe is indifferent to us and what we do or want, so it is up to us to sort it out. As much as wishing for something might feel like a means to an end perhaps a careful consideration of what is required to achieve what you seek and putting a plan into action to successfully gain your prize is an advisable course of action. Pretty basic but could be effective.

Just a thought.

http://www.pauladeen.com/recipes/recipe_view/magical_peanut_butter_cookies/ for the actual cookie part smile Very simple to make up for the time it takes to make the bacon topping.
Candy bacon by lightly coating bacon strips in brown sugar and put on a rack in the oven at 375 for about 20-30 minutes until crispy but not burned. (baking at a lower temp recommended but can take much longer). Cut bacon into smaller strips when cooled. Melt chocolate chips in microwave safe dish in the microwave (or use a double boiler on the stove) and coat bacon bits in chocolate. When they are cooled you can put them on top of Peanut butter cookies (also need to be warm from the oven ((Make chocolate covered bacon first, then cookies)) )

Drinking mass amounts of bourbon makes everything better.
