I just shot another SG set with photographer Chris Clark. It's going to be very dark and sexy this time, with a sort of noir bar theme.
I haven't actually SEEN the photos from this yet. it's driving me nuts! He says he'll have a couple photos for me to look at tomorrow though, so perhaps I can post a preview.

Okay, so I FINALLY have my own computer!
Which means I can write on here as much as I want.
And it's Christmaaaas, yay. What kind of plans do y'all have for the holidays?
I don't have any family closeby, so I will be chilling at home with the pets and some close friends, probably drinking rum egg nog and baking drunken cookies.
Oh and don't forget my favorite Christmas movies - Die Hard and Santa's Slay 2. Tee hee.
Whatever you end up doing, I hope it's special

Hey everyone! YYYYYAAAAAAAY I'm on the front page!
So my my first set, Punk Rock Pin-Up just went live on SG yesterday at around 3am. I must say I wasn't sure what to expect.
Let me give you a little background, an idea of the "behind the scenes":
I shot this set with the wonderful Gary of Metro Glamour Studios in New Jersey while I was on a long vacation. I had never even LOOKED at the Suicide Girls website, so I had no idea what to shoot. I had always wanted to do a pin-up set, but I've had a mohawk for several years, so I knew this was going to be a very unconventional set.
Now because I didn't read the guidelines, I didn't know what was expected to get a set bought for SG. So I feel like my set was a little different than what SG was looking for.
However!
Now that I've read allllllll the tutorials and gotten advice from several Pink Ladies and other folks, I feel like my next set will be even better! I do like the uniqueness of my first set, and some folks have even said it harkens back to the original SG shoots, which is very flattering to me.
metroglamour (Gary) is one of THE BEST photographers I have ever shot with. I can't wait to go back and do another set really soon!
Look forward to more work from me, and I want to thank EVERYONE for the support and kind comments on my set - you have no idea how much I appreciate it.
As a thanks to all the folks who have been supporting me.. my roommate was kind enough to snap a quick photo of me... NEKKID.
And EYE CONTACT! lookin right at you.
I just got back from go-go dancing at an industrial show in San Antonio, so I'm still wearin my ripped up tights. Enjoy!

Sooooo... the reason I haven't been online much the past few days is because my laptop crashed.
I was able to get a new computer from a friend yesterday, now just need to clean off my desk in storage and put it in my tiny room.
Sigh. Writing from my android at work for now. Should be back up and running shortly.

gah!
left for THREE HOURS only to pose nude for an art class. got home, picked up my kitten spike and noticed her collar was gone off her neck.
looked around for a while, and found it on my bed, torn to shreds with big DOG bite marks all over it!
she is totally fine, thankfully.
just when you think all the animals in your house get along! and then you imagine a pit bull dragging your little 8-week old bear around by its neck
at least my roommate, and her pit bull are moving out in three days.
as you can see from the picture, usually they get along pretty well...

wow! a whole night of privacy in the house. at least a couple blissful hours anyway.
i have two roommates, and they are always home! we also have two dogs, three cats and a ferret - they are always getting into things and demanding so much of my attention. i love all of them, but sometimes it's just excellent to lay in a bubble bath and drink frozen lemonade in complete.. and utter.. silence.
which is exactly what i did tonight.

need to do this more often.

did a shift at the Museum of the Weird downtown Austin. got to perform for the percussionist for Dead Can Dance who had just played ACL Live that night. he loved the show.
went to a metal show afterwards at the local punk bar and met up with some friends, got kind of drunk. walking home, i got a lamb kebab with everything on it and it was DELICIOUS. it's the little things, i guess.
my homegirl katie saw me sitting on the curb stuffing my face dressed in my sideshow best and offered to give me a ride somewhere. i drove around with her and three other people i'd never met, and we ended up buying fuel and spinning fire (burning) on the cliff overlooking the 360 bridge until the sun came up.
never a dull night in austin, tx.
