Finally I found some time to tell you all about my proposal weekend in Barcelona.
So lets start with the good news, she said YES !!!
Friday morning at 4:00 am we drove to the airport. 7 hours later we checked in at our hotel. It was our second time in Barcelona together, so most of the touristic places we had already seen.
The first day we spend in the beautiful Park Güell. We enjoyed the sun at the Gran Placa Circular with the snake bench (probably the longest bench in the world), designed by Gaudí.
That night we had an amazing dinner experience at the Chef's table of "Los Caracoles". A restaurant (world) famous for his snails and a lot of celebrities had dinner there. Luciano Pavarotti, Christopher Lee, Robert de Niro, Van Halen and Lenny Kravitz are just a few names of the impressive list of visitors of "Los Caracoles".

During the live music I told her I arranged a little suprise for the next morning, a Helicopter flight above the city.
Than there was the big day.
It was a 45 minute walk to the helipad and it was like 26 degrees celcius. I was wearing a jacket because I needed the inside pocket for the ring box. She was calling me crazy the whole damn walk. And I was sweating my ass off!
Like that wasn't enough already, I saw the metal detector at the helipad. Luckily the machine didn't go off while I walked through, but the 20 minutes of waiting and sweating were pretty stressfull.
It was my first time in a helicopter. The flight was amazing!
When we came close to the Sagrada Família, I pulled the ring box out of my pocket, my voices was shaking while I said something like: "You're the one" / "I love you" / "Do you want to marry me".
In shock she screamed: "NO, NO, NOOO!" She quickly said yes, with tears in her eyes. It was on of the most beautiful things I've experienced in my life so far.
After the flight, the emotions, the phonecalls to our parents and most important friends, we went back to our hotel room to celebrate.
The night we spend with a lovely walk along the promenade and a nice dinner.
Our last day at Barcelona we started early at the Casa Milà, another great work of Gaudi.
We ended the weekend at my parents house, drinking champagne and whiskey with my girfriends parents.

As you all know, my proposal is fast approaching. Only 4 days to go. Still dont know if the ring will arrive in time.
Still enjoying the good weather, we decided to go to a castle nearby. We talked about it lately that it would be a perfect wedding location.
And it was beautiful ! A lovely little chapel for the ceremony and you just feel the history over there.
Sunday night I went to my parents for some moral support.
My sister has bought a house with her boyfriend.
To bad we recently found out the guy is a lazy piece of ass. I came from a nest off hard workers, so my parents find this really difficult. My sister, who is 9 years older than me is exhausted, but they dont accept any form of help.
The Monday was spend very well, in which I finally start my book of Margot Anand, a master in Skydancing Tantra. Found a little piece of heaven close to home. Needed to walk 10 minutes through the bushes but it was worth it. A perfect place to read and meditate.

The book is in my possession for over 2 years, but I never took the effort to start with it.
Tonight I will start with the first exercise, so I am really excited about that. Not only for my sexual upgrade, but also to control my anxiety and marijuana addiction.
Also, my first story in the Filthy Dirty Smutty Storytime is up.

Something to think about..
So it’s Friday again, time for another blog.
Again, I’m looking forward to an extended weekend, so pretty happy at the moment.
Some stressful developments about the ring situation. As you all may know, at the moment I write this, it’s exactly one week before I take of with the gf (and hopefully future wife) to Barcelona. Last week I had like 26 phone calls and 34 emails toward the goldsmith. With a pretty damn good reason, if you ask me. My week started with receiving an email that the ring will be out of production in the second week of June. Right, only two weeks to late.. Though they promised me an delivery within 3 to 4 weeks, and I ordered the ring on my birthday, the second of May, so it would be delivered before Barcelona.
To make a long story short, after all those calls and emails, the production will be accelerated and the ring will be send directly from the goldsmith. (the usual procedure is that the goldsmith send the ring to the head office where it will be wrapped up before send it to me)
The delivery date is now set on Thursday the 31th of May (precisely in time) or the first of June (precisely to late). So it’s going to be one stressful week.
Now let’s talk about the brighter side of life. The weekend. The weather over here is extremely pleasing. The sun is shining and the temperature is rising to 25 to 30 degrees. So tonight, Me and my best friend will have a great outdoor smokin’ session before he leaves to Japan for 4 weeks to visit his brother who is studying over there. I must admit, I’m going to miss that retarded shitface.
Beside that, some interesting saying came along, that makes me think.
“Life.. It’s like playing the best video game you will ever get to play. You can be ANYTHING you want to bed. You can go ANYWHERE you want to go. And you can meet ANYONE you want to meet. The catch is.. You only have one life. So spend it well. Your game started a while ago. Have you start playing?”
So I made an list of thing I want to do in the upcoming year. Actually it was Dr. Phil who started this chain reaction by saying: “Once you have determined precisely what it is you want, you must decide on a timeframe for having it”

It's Sunday morning over here, the girlfriend is out to work, I'm waking up with some coffee, music and beautiful, naked, tattooed women. I'm realising that love is making me soft, though I don't mind. The gf is having a stressful period, with a lot of examens. She's also waiting on the feedback of the university, if she can start the forensic scientist education.
So I do as much as I can for her at the moment. Feed her with sweet songs, treat her with massages and put a smile on her face when she don't expect it.

There are some interesting developments about my job situation as I wrote in my last blog. Maybe I've told you already I'm an salesman in Business Mobile Telecommunication, but because of the job pressure I'm seriously thinking about making a career switch, though I didn't know which way to look.
And then it hits me, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. My daddy is a purchaser at a mayor shipping company. He loves his job and he is pretty damn good at it. So all the time I was on the selling side of the table, maybe it's time to explore the more fun side of the table.
The most difficult thing about changing jobs is to leave a company full of great colleagues. Last week we had a company football tournament in which we finished first.
To increase my stress level, I also received a email from the goldsmith who is making my proposal ring. He's not sure if he can finished the ring before I leave to Barcelona to carry out my romantic proposal.
Maybe that's the reason there is growing a pimple the size of second forehead on my face. Where I used to be almost depressed about a pimple ( puberty leaves its marks ) I can smile about it now.
So let's see, have I shared all the things that are on my mind at the moment? The job situation, the proposal and the girlfriend. Ooh I almost forgot about to tell you about my best friend, My soulmate if you want to put it that way. His name is Sven and hopefully he will join the SG community soon.

So it’s seems change is coming.
Like I wrote in my last blog, I’m going to ask my girlfriend to spend the rest of her life with me.
As we speak, the ring is hand maded in Germany and hopefully it will be finished in time, before we take off to Barcelona where I will surprise her with a helicopter flight about the city.
Another big aspect in my life is my job.
At the moment, it feels like it’s the only aspect in my life. I work as an accountmanager in Business Mobile Telecommunication. A great job in which I have a lot of freedom. Riding around the country to visit companys, to talk about shit I don’t care and they don’t need. It pays pretty good and I have a company car. The main issue I have that it’s target based work. Every quarter I need to get my targets, and if I do, I get some bonus. And when the quarter is finished, I need to start all over again. It makes me restless. On the other side it’s a job that requiers all of you, not only during working hours, but I work a lot at home, what make my regular 40 hour work week, more a 60 or 70 hour work week. I need to smoke weed to clear my mind and have a decent sleep.
So I decided to look beyond the company car and the bonuses, and going to talk with my boss about another position within the company, if possible.
If that’s not possible, at least I have been honest, and I need to look for another job.
The difficulty in that is that I can’t come up with a job I would really love to do (beside: superhero, undercover agent or bad ass assassin).
I will continue that search, but in the meanwhile I need something that pays the bills, and hopefully some fresh ink in the near future as well.

But maybe much more exciting, I am going to pop the question next month. I am very happy I can share it with you all. We will fly to Barcelona the first of June, and on Saturday the second of June I will surprise her with a helicopter flight above the city, where I will ask if she wants to marry me when we fly above the Sagrada Familia.
The reason for asking her, after a 3 year relationship, is quite simple. She is angelic. The best thing that ever happend to me. She saw who I really am, and she stayed. I didn't make it easy for her, but she is a fighter. To good for the world we're living in, if you ask me.

I just realise that my great weekend started last friday night.
After work, I had dinner with my family in law and as usual my mother in law did a serious attempt to get me drunk. And she succeeded easily. My father is law was on a small event in the village when he texted me. George Baker is in town, he's preforming within 30 minutes. And for me, George Baker is a hero. Maybe you'll know him for Little Green Bag, from the movie Pulp Fiction. So I rushed over there and I got the chance to meet him and talk to him.
This morning, after making a delicous breakfast my girlfriend left for her shopping weekend with the girls, and I decided what to do. So I cleaned up a little bit, went to the coffeeshop for some weed and went shopping. I came up with the brilliant idea to make a chocolate cheesecake, something I've never did. It just popped in to my head.
But before starting on the cheesecake, I light up my waterpipe for a sweet smokin session.

My father is law was on a small event in the village when he texted me. George Baker is in town, he's preforming within 30 minutes. And for me, George Baker is a hero. Maybe you'll know him for Little Green Bag, from the movie Pulp Fiction. So I rushed over there and I got the chance to meet him and talk to him.
This morning, after making a delicous breakfast my girlfriend left for her shopping weekend with the girls, and I decided what to do. So I cleaned up a little bit, went to the coffeeshop for some weed and went shopping. I came up with the brilliant idea to make a chocolate cheesecake, something I've never did. It just popped in to my head.
But before starting on the cheesecake, I light up my waterpipe for a sweet smokin session.
And after that the cheesecake project.

First I’m going to celebrate the end of a difficult period, and the start of a beautiful time in my life.
My grandfather passed away, a family war was started, my occasional drug use got a little bit out of hand and I didn’t leave the house, starting to get anxious about my daily life.
But that was last year. 2012 is the year of the dragon. My year. Though I had some problems lately, my eyes are brighter, my mind is clear, my love is pure, the bitterness is gone.
Next week I’m going to make an appointment with one of my favorite tattoo artists, Alexandr.
