i know i've been MIA for a while. a lot of crud going on. as you can tell i haven't been able to log on as often, so sorry for letting things slip away. like the line above says, "koreilyn is the gingerbread girl," sorry about that.
just wanted to say thanks for the continual support on my set. will i do another one? well i can say that i really really really want to. just a matter of the theme, the outfit, and most importantly, the photographer. i swear, this finding a new photographer business is like pulling teeth. again, even though i've been MIA, thanks for the support.
it really does mean a lot. after being on this site and checking out more of the girl's sets, i think i have a better idea of what i want to do for the next one, when that happens that is.

all better now! yay! and emergen-c, i am such an advocate haha.
the move was a pain in the bum. i was better in time for it, but something worse than moving when sick....moving in the rain. i figured screw it, i already made the truck reservation, it's supposedly going to rain for a while, and guess what? next day, no rain, and no rain since. bad timing oye. but oh well. ce la vie.

the weather has been fluctuating lately and surprise surprise i'm sick again.
you know those people who are prone to getting sick, that is apparently me. i'm moving this week and i unfortunately have barely any strength to lift a box. doesn't matter though since i have to be out of here by this week. thank goodness for loving friends and family who don't mind helping me move, in the rain no less.
i pray these emergen-c packets will cure me soon.
oh, i have a tattoo session scheduled in march, i know it's far but i'm stoked! i'm hoping to get my additional 4 tattoos done that day. plus touch-up!

So I was at Designer Con in Pasadena the other day and I was disappointed. This was the first time I did this convention and I expected more. I thought it was going to be more about art and people selling custom work, prints, paintings, etc. Turns out it was just a bunch of people buying toys from vendors that always sell those toys to begin with from their store.
There were a few independent artists there that had some great stuff. I enjoyed the work of Absurdance, HiTree, and the Long Beach Craft Mafia, I only wish that others enjoyed their work just as much. I met some great local artists and I do intend to do the convention in the future, just hoping that others will continue to try and create a demand for art instead of mass produced work.
It's funny, so many people were taking pictures of things saying, "Wow!" "That's great." "This booth has the best stuff." Well then.....care to make a purchase? Instead of taking a picture of my piece and my fellow booth mates work. Everything was $10 or less as opposed to the $60 you just spent on a toy that you could've purchased online on eBay.
Argh
and sigh*

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
hope everyone has a good and safe one.
so a lot has been going on these past few. i'm moving in a few weeks. where? no idea, my lease is up soon so i have to figure it out. i've looked at a few places and just haven't decided.
been helping out at a few gallery openings and selling my custom vinyls so that's been good. trying to pop out more, the creative juices have been a flowing. and there is an art convention i'm going to be doing so i have to come up with more work before then.
but the biggest news of all.....i am now MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it's funny how things work out.
who is my significant other? well, i was in a very very long term relationship with him and we unfortunately had to take a break due to different career paths. now that everything is all squared away on both ends
we linked up again and now............ i'm a married woman.
hmm...i think that's all the highlights so far. oh! i'm trying really hard to shoot another set, but my photographer has also been MIA so that means...i'm looking for someone to work with. know anyone good?

This past Saturday I went to a concert in Pomona at the Glass House, I saw Portugal, The Man, they were pretty good. Surprisingly enough. I've never heard of them before, but they kind of...just kind of...reminded me of Led Zeppelin, but I prefer Zeppelin haha.
The concert was pretty good though, I had a good time, everything aside from the girl who's ass I was about to kick and the guy who's back I punched, aside from that, good times haha. Some people just ask for trouble when they're rude. I didn't need to be so violent, I was trying to work on my anger, but they were just very rude. (this was a sign that I need to take up boxing again or another contact sport, my aggression is clearly not being worked out through yoga-as much as I enjoy it).
Anyways, since I was in that area, I stopped by the SCA Gallery which was down the block from the concert venue, to check out the Great Divide exhibit again.

The exhibit was supposed to take down at end of the week, but turns out that the gallery owner got such great feedback and enjoys it so much that they're going to have it up until the end of October. It's really amazing. The fact that these artists created it, photographers with no real installation background, mind blowing. You might not be too impressed when you see it, but if you talk to the artists who are always around or the art gallery owner, and learn the hardships they went through, wow!
Give it some love if you're in the area or just want to see something great. People are driving from LA and SD to see it. I was shocked. The next exhibit at the SCA gallery is going to put their art around this installation so that they don't mess with the integrity of the piece. It's that good haha. So they're kind of having a double opening on....October 10th. Saturday. It's another reception. Not sure if I'll be at this one since I was at the last, but hey, always looking to help support good art.
Oh, and also, one of my co-workers kids is a boyscout, the popcorn by Trail's End that they sell, specifically the flavor Triple Chocolate Delight. OMG! haha. Popcorn orgasm in my mouth. haha.

yum popcorn!

I've been a little horn doggy lately. I don't know why, but it seems all I can think about is sex. It's nerve racking. *nail biting* I know there's nothing wrong with it, but it kind of becomes a pain in the ass when all you want to do is have sex or masturbate all day.
pardon the vulgarity of this blog, i just have to get these scenarios out of my head. i figured writing about it will help.
Anyways, there are two fantasies playing through my head.
These kind of make me laugh, it's strange, the guys in these scenarios aren't my type at all. guess that's the point of a fantasy.
one:
I'm picturing a guy dressed in dickie shorts. high white socks, vans shoes (the old school vans with the one white stripe on the side), wearing his t-shirt with some logo or graphic on it. complete skater boy. not a confident one either, just a bit geeky (now the geeky, unconfident part is my type
) he's a good skater, with some friends, skating at some skate park. i see him there. take him aside, to a place where he can "skate." i bring him to an empty pool, he skates in it for a bit, i'm atop, watching him, then i go take off my clothes while looking at him do his thing, crawl down into the empty pool, he didn't notice what i was doing, all of a sudden he does a quick take and realizes i'm naked. he stops skating, and there you go, you can imagine the rest
haha.
two: (i blame this one on band of brothers haha-i've been watching it lately)
i'm in the woods (who knows why? haha) and all of sudden a gang of guys trys to attack me. i'm running, trying to escape, they catch up to me. there's too many of them i can't really beat all of them but i know i can take a few. you know what they're up to, and it's not looking good. i grab a loose branch from the ground and start beating a few of them down, they manage to take it away from me and i know what's coming. all of a sudden...a handsome, rugged looking guy, dressed in army fatigues (old school band of brothers uniform
haha) comes and starts to beat the shit out of a few, i manage to wiggle loose out of the grips of one of them and i beat the shit out of the other guys haha. (let's just pretend that this is back in the day, makes it a little more believable haha). the "handsome stranger" grabs my wrist and tells me that we got to go, he takes me someplace safe, he scouts the area and ensures that we really are safe. he has to get back to his company, but before he does, i grab him and kiss him. and yeah...fucking in the woods. haha
kind of a classic damsel in distress scenario (which i hate, i do not like being a damsel in distress-one of those things that pisses me off- you know in movies where you just want the girl to do something aside from screaming, just kick some ass, do SOMETHING-well, yeah....i'm the type of girl who can "take care of herself" or prefers to)
like i said, these guys aren't really my type AT ALL. but these scenarios are running through my head right now, haha.

I did a silly thing today and I just had to share.
So I've been going commando the past few days, just for the heck of it.
So I went to the bathroom at work today, I really had to go. I went into a stall, lifted up my dress, you know, usual stuff haha, and then I just sat down. I didn't start to use the bathroom because something felt funny....haha
I realized that I still had my panties on and I sat down on the toilet haha.
Just to clarify, I DID NOT PEE MY PANTIES. haha
I just got up and pulled them down and did my business, but I was so used to not having to take off any underwear the past few days that it was almost like second nature to just lift my dress up and do my thing.
Anyways, thought I'd share, it made me laugh, and I was laughing at my self in the stall. No one else was in there...I think haha. If there was someone else in the bathroom they were probably wondering why the crazy person in the stall next to them is laughing to herself on the toilet haha.
