I need to stay away from FaceBook because all of the following reasons

1. status updates from high school friends, who are now conservative or Republican, regarding Osama Bin Laden, President Obama, or general politics are making me annoyed, then angry because I don't want to get into a debate, then stressed because I keep thinking about it.

2. wall posts from friends about how much they LOooOOoOVE their other friends. I get it. You're friends, you're best friends, you think the other is awesome, so get off the computer, go hang out and spare the rest of us.

3. I just want to know how people I actually like are doing, I don't care about those people I've added out of courtesy and I've forgotten how to change those filters.

How can you tell when you're in love?

Well, I didn't ask people for money, but I did get enough birthday money from my parents and cousin and gangstaswan for this


so, YAY!

Man, I haven't been on the site much, which is kind of a strange thing. Visiting SG was a part of my daily routine for about 5 or 6 years of my life. I guess I am spending that time on other communities/social networking sites with mostly friends that I've met through SG so it doesn't feel like I've been that out of touch.

So, how tacky would it be to set up a fund of sorts for close friends and family to put birthday money toward buying a rather expensive piece of clothing that you really want for your birthday?

I've seen it done before but I feel like it's such an awkward thing to be asking. If I were asking them to donate money to a charity in lieu of gifts that would be one thing, but this seems a little impersonal and just well, tacky?

I think it's different if it's for someone's wedding or for someone to go to school or something that is not just a beautifully draped chiffon convertible dress that can be worn as a layered skirt or a top and is on sale for 50% off... (this is me selling it to my parents)

Yeah, anyway, your thoughts?

I guess I'm supposed to be thinking about my future again. I always seem to forget to do so until I hit a point where I feel my life has reached a stalemate

I'm sort of terrible at making the right decisions. Not that I have made any particularly bad ones, I just feel that if I had made multiple right ones I would be in the right place currently. This "you can be whatever you want to be" business is far too complicated. There are too many choices, I need it to be much more simple. I never liked having 31 flavors to choose from, I always picked the same one.

You can be an animal trainer or a real estate broker.
You can be a meteorologist or a copy writer.
You can either be an architect or a chemist.

If someone could just tell me what would be best for me and tell me how to get there, that would really help me out a lot, thanks!
