time for an update...
i hate my hair a little less now. i'm actually thinking about getting it cut a little shorter.
i've been working as much as i can cause right now i'm hardly paying our bills. i'm still thinking about taking up a second job as a barista somewhere.
been trying to make it out to pasadena to hit up a warehouses party sometime.
other than that i've been really bored. i miss everybody and i can't wait to finally make it out to one of the sgla events. keep yer fingers crossed that i'll pull in a nice phat paycheck sometime soon so i can make it out.

i totally hate it
attended an old friends wedding... the best part about the trip was the drive there and back. the crappy part was realizing my friend had been brainwashed by the christian teen challenge program and no longer saw me as the type of person he would be friends with. we didn't talk about this but we both knew. i use the term "brainwashed" because any glimmer of personality this guy had is gone. the only thing he said to me at the wedding was as he was leaving i snapped a pic of him and his new bride and he said "hey, that's a nice camera" hmmm... i think he realized he hadn't spoke to me all day and felt bad. ps-my camera is a few years old and really doesn't look like anything special... the only other cool guest was his buddy matt whom i've met before and saw thru the years. he wore a kilt and played his bagpipes for us (me and the girl i rode with) outside. i've rambled enough for one day.
turns out i'm getting a $100 bonus for taking such good care of the cafe. *does the happy dance*

i am still here if anyone has noticed i've been away from my sg account (and pretty much everything else) the four weeks before last week i was running the cafe where i wait tables. the boss man was away cooking for a local outdoor school and asked me to step up to his position while he was gone. it was really great to be the boss for a while. had some really crappy days, the worst being our busiest day i've worked yet (seemed even busier since we were shortstaffed to begin with on top of the bossman being absent) ending with the till totalling twice what we normally do in a regular business day. day before one of my employees cut her finger pretty bad while using the industrial slicer. judging by her reaction i would have guessed she nearly removed the digit, actual findings showed she could have used a stitch or two. all first aid aside, it was a massive headache that i could have done without.
two more tidbits for you all:
1. i purchased a "gangsta rap" colouring book.
2. my wedding dress has been picked out and i should be heading to eugene to pick it up tomorrow. (lucky me, the first one i tried on was "The One"
