I was a very good gal this weekend, and went to the gym saturday night. ok, may sound a little lame to some, but it was nice. the pool was practically empty, as was the gym (athough I managed to forget my membership card (well I thought I had but I found out the next day that it was in my purse), my ipod, my headphones for my ipod, phone or the machines and my bikini!!! Doh! I ended up having to buy a cheapie bikini from Tesco). Although I was a little naughty after and had a chinese!! ha ha!

Went to see The Long Blondes last night and they were amazing! I had a lovely time. My friend and I went to see some of my friends (one of whom has just got back with her ex after 3 years apart) and then went to Frankie and Bennies for dinner, where the service was amazing!! We had a nice chat and he asked some odd questions. The LBs opened with 'Round the Hairpin' which is my fav song off the second album and played some wicked tracks off the first album. Nearly all the songs from the first album have great meaning for my friend and I as the lyrics are exceptionaly relevant to a situation we were in until recently. We were a little sad as they didn't play 'Only Lovers Left Alive' as this is our fav. song but we listened to it on the way home, which kinda made up for it. Southampton Uni SU Bar is a bt lame (no offence Tiggie) and the crowd were really slow to warm up but ita all-in-all it was good.

I only have two seasons left of The Wire Season 3 and then I shall be hitting Season 4!!

So it's been about ten days since I split with The Boy. I miss him but I snapped myself out of the sadness - I've got so much on at the mo, I don't have time to mope.

Unfortunately I am now coming down with throat lurgie and feel like shit. I've been pushing myself too hard recently and this is my body's way of screaming "oi woman! wo wo wo there. stop working. stop stressing and calm the fuck down". So I have spent the day, under a duvet, on the sofa. It's been fun (actually that's a lie - it's been dull and ill and boring) I think I've realised I am a workaholic (to a certain degree) - I can't even go a day without working or looking for a job. Ah I don't mind being a workaholic!

I can't wait to get to bed tonight - I think I am gonna sleep like a baby!

at the moment i am stuck in essay-hell oh, and i am ill with bad throat and lady flu oh and my body has decided that it does not like the leftover pizza i just had so all-in-all i am feeling like shit (doesn't help I stayed up til 2am to watch Messiah 2 but to fair, what else is a gal with insomnia gonna do (bar drink and party but i've done that before and it ended up in £10k+ debt and having to resit a year at uni!!!)

oh the plus side I am *loving* The Kills at the moment so that makes everything all good. Midnight Boom is just fucking amazing... can't stop listening to Black Balloon and this....



and what's even better is the fact I'm going to see them sooooooooon
