KISSKA SAYS: “The idea of making this set was born from my new purple shiny shoes - a gift left next to the bedside by a special person. I love shoes! ...and decided to break them in by walking all around the house. I was trying to complete my new shoe look with matching outfits that I discovered in a magical walk-in closet. Looking at myself in the mirror reminded me of The Picture of Dorian Gray - classic gothic horror fiction. In the story, realizing that one day his beauty will fade; Dorian cries out, expressing his desire to sell his soul to ensure his own portrait would age rather than himself.
