anyone using the term as jocular has a whole lot of ass kicking in store for them. not as a threat from me personally, just a general observation that such a person has much to learn about the ugly side of life, and life can sure dish out quite a bit of that to the stupid and naive.

Unfortunately you are right, it's all too common in our society. Kids think it's funny, giving them the impression that 'hey it's ok to joke about, it's ok to do'. Makes me want to vomit.... Or knock someone's teeth in... I'm not really sure which involuntary reaction would respond first.

Yeah, it's horribly contagious to use rape describing the epic level of ass beating that has or will commence. It's the same thing with saying shit like homo or fag. Buddy having a fairy moment? That's homo. Buddy getting pouty? *snicker* FAG! Or that's faggy. Stuff like that. It was way bad amongst the soldiers when I was in. I'd be sitting there drunk contemplating on that up till my buddy kills a dude at beer pong "Donny fucking raped your ass! Bwaaaah!" etc etc.

I'm not going to share with a bunch of strangers things that have happened to me. All I got t osay, suck it up drive on. Sick sad world filled with a lot of jack asses, including myself. These things are at the bottom of the fucked up list. Which doesn't make it right. Just how shit is. Don't do it yourself and vent if you got to but the best thing to do is just drop it till society gets closer to squaring it's ass away and listening to reason. Something I do not see in the near future.

If a person said I raped that keg last night has issues. To me that would imply he shoved his dick in the keg hole or something. At any rate the word rape should not be used in any sentence or context.

Hmmmmm, very perplexing indeed, but in this lady's case if word got out...she'd more than likely be seen the "rapist" due to the age difference. And if it really was, it's weird that she'd just dismiss it, not that rape victims gloat obviously. There's just steps to the process and it seems outta place. Anyways, i wanted to thank you. I'm with you man, my aunt was raped and murdered while pregnant. I have never been able to use that word as anything but a description of the disgusting act that it is. It amazes me when I here a 12 year old kid tell one of his friends that he is going to rape them at soccer or some other game.. I always jump their shit when I hear it. Of course, they just think it is me being a grown-up or because I am their teacher I have to say that, but I find the use of the word in any joking or mocking manner to be extremely offensive.
Maybe I am just overly sensitive to it but I also feel that kids shouldn't get into the habit of using words that represent a heinous crime in a joking manner. It really does suck that it is so widely used.
