Sooo, I just got interviewed by the City Newspaper and they are doing a feature on my business in this week's edition! Soooo over the weekend I made some new pieces. I've gotten a lot more hands-on and making my own hand-sewn items.

I bought these barbells to use when I got my tongue pierced. We actually ended up going with a 12G instead of a 14G sooo these are pretty much useless to me. Not much is new, I finished my 1/2 sleeve though! I know this picture isn't the greatest, but it's kinda hard to take a decent picture of the inside of your upper arm.

after more than a MONTH, I finally got more work done on my sleeve last Saturday! It has definitely taken a strange twist, not what I first had envisioned, but I love just letting my artist do whatever he wants. I think that if you can do that, you will come out with the best piece possible because they will value that work of art as their own!

Just the inside left to go, I'm leaving it at a 1/2 sleeve for a while I think. I know I want the full, but I'm a chickenshit.


I think we're going to do a haunted dog house on the inside...lol

sooo the story is, the Chihuahua got turned into a Day of the Dead Sugar Skull and then he attacked the guy below him and turned him into one too. There are his bones and stuff all over the yard haha. Next time he's going to put in some dog toys I guess!

I wish my camera had better color on it, you should see how bright and vivid this looks, it is really really pretty!!!!

wow I've been neglecting the blog...sorry! I got a new job and today is actually my last day at this shit hole YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm taking tomorrow off to go get tattooed haha. I'm getting a Dia De Los Muertos Chihuahua on my shoulder to start my sleeve which I've been waiting FOREVER to start!

I know my new employer doesn't care about tattoos....but I'd rather get it before I start working just incase haha. He mentioned I have some, but I didn't say how many or where or how big

I bought a sewing machine earlier this week and I've decided to make a lot more hand-sewn items for my business Hundchen Designs.

I applied for my DBA for my business!!! Hopefully I'll get approval soon so I can start selling at craft-fairs and farmers markets in town I'm so excited, I can actually say I'm putting my useless business degree to work now haha.

I took part in a June challenge on Etsy to make something out of a medium you aren't used to and outside of your comfort zone. I decided to work with metal and make some PEOPLE jewelry *gasp* haha

What a great birthday week last week!

I bought myself a new (used) car! A 2010 Jeep Liberty Sport! I've always wanted a Jeep, and the price was right, and I NEEDED a new car my poor old car was literally falling apart and breaking down every other week.

My amazing boyfriend got me my FAVORITE perfume set and a nice new pair of Guess jeans which I needed SOOOOO badly because all of my jeans look like shit haha.

His mom got me a really cute Guess top to match the jeans, a crocheted black duster to wear over top, a wrap bracelet that I really wanted and some matching earrings.

Then, after I thought all the festivities were over, I was totally surprised. Yesterday I went with my boyfriend and his father and they didn't really tell me where I was going. We pulled into the tattoo shop parking lot. I thought we were there because his dad was getting something done, I figured we were going to just drop him off and leave. Well........surprise! We were there because his mom and dad wanted to get my chest piece fixed for me for my birthday!!!

I'm so happy with how it looks now and i"m not ashamed to have it showing anymore.
