I guess you never really think about how insignificant your tangible life is until you fit it all into a 2-door coupe. lol

can I just say that I have met THE BEST people on here. Seriously if it wasn't for some nudging, help and encouragement from my SG friends I don't think I'd be able to make this trip. Knowing that there are people out there who care about me enough to go out of their way to help means more than anything (you know who you are smile ). Also knowing that I won't be without friends once I get to the west coast is VERY comforting smile I'm looking forward to meeting so many of you on this journey!

I'm going to try to keep a video blog of my trip, but I don't know if I'll have any way of posting it once I'm on the road, if worse comes to worst then I'll just wait and upload them all once I'm in LA shocked

oh, and did I mention I have a date next week? Oh yeah, 'cause I do. Well we might not go out next week depending on how busy we both are (he's a producer so he's always busy and with me moving in and all) but yeah....I'm HELLA excited! eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I feel like a little 14 year old girl hahahahahahaha

so I don't know how to feel about today.

My mom threw me a going away party today...and none of my family showed up. They had "other plans" even though they've apparently known about the party for over 2 weeks, and they suddenly had other plans. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little bit hurt. Then to make matters worse only 4 of my friends showed up.

I guess this really goes to show who my "real friends" are. The four that did show, actually drove quite a ways to get here...the closest one drove 1/2 hour.

At least I'm not so sad about leaving now. If no one fucking wants me here, then FINE. I don't want to BE here. I have one of the hottest, sexiest, and best guy friends out in LA waiting for me to get there. Plus I have one of my friends from high school who has been helping me cope with this whole moving thing and she's gone out on a limb to make everything less stressful and scary for me. I owe her more than anything. Yes, there are some people here that care about me, one of them is actually an awesome guy I met on here who is helping me get my car fixed up for the trip, but a lot of the people whom I THOUGHT were going to care about me leaving, couldn't give two shits less.

But, like i said, at least now I don't feel so bad about leaving. Infact, I feel quite empowered. I'm a very spiteful person sometimes, and what a better way to say "fuck you" than to move across the country right? lol

Whatevs, when I'm a rich and famous record producer I'll see who my friends are....................and when I lose my job and am living out of a box, then I'll see who my REAL friends are.

Los Angeles, CA.........prepare yourself. lol

So, Princeton is no longer a transgendered puppy....he's now a eunuch puppy haha.

I have to keep a close eye on him because he did not take the surgery well at all. After I picked him up I got 3/4 of the way home and turned back around and drove back to the SPCA (they did the procedure). What started out as a small bump on his nose quickly spread into large blisters across his face, neck and back. His eyes swelled shut, and he was wheezing since his throat was swelling to. I literally had NO gas in my car and I don't know how I got all the way back there when my gas light was on, but someone was watching over me.

when we got back to the SPCA the vet had already left and they couldn't get ahold of her since she wasn't back in her office yet. We ended up calling the SPCA's emergency vet and they told us to give him benadryl (which I would've done anyways but I didn't know if it'd react with anything else he had done). The benadryl seemed to help a slight bit and I ended up taking him home.

As soon as we got home he started whining, moaning and wheezing again. I was terrified so I called the emergency vetline back again. The lady was a complete douche hole to me. She told me that she couldn't help me since I wasn't a regular patient at the clinic...ironically it is the same clinic my mom takes her dogs to so I told the receptionist that. She just kept repeating "the emergency vet line is only for regular patients" so I finally lost my cool. I said "I fucking heard you the first time ma'am but my dog is in pain and could be dying. I want to speak with your supervisor NOW!" so she transferred me. The supervisor was VERY helpful and she apologized for the bitch lady, especially since the SPCA specifically gave me that number to call if Princeton didn't get better. Annnyways she transferred me to the vet on call and the vet said that it would cost $100 just to bring him in, not including any treatment. I started crying because I cannot afford that. She told me that all they'd do was give him steroid shots to ease his pain. I remembered that my mom's dog Eli has steroid pills for his ear infections so I asked the vet and she said that it'd be ok to give 1/4 of one to Princeton. She said that actually it is the same thing they would've given him there. She also suggested that I put a cold compress on his face and neck to ease the swelling and blisters/welts.

I gave him the med which the poor pup could barely swallow and I held him on my lap crying as I put the icepack on his little face. He kept moaning and finally he started to relax and fall asleep. I think the cold compress felt really good to him. Little by little the welts began to disappear. Now he seems to be back to normal which is a huge relief to me, but I'm going to keep my eye on him just incase and I'll probably bring him to work with me tomorrow just to be safe.

but all of this made me realize something...I'm a good mom smile lol (yes I consider my dog my child....don't judge me). If my baby is in pain I will NOT take "no" for an answer. And God have mercy on anyone who tries to stand in my way.

sooo I found out the CA state fair is in SACRAMENTO....not Los Angeles. sooo looks like I'll be heading up north for about a month after I move out to LA lol. sooo yeah bummer, but at least it's a job smile so I don't really even care.

oh annnnd Princeton becomes a eunuch tomorrow, no more hermaphrodite doggy....hooray! Hopefully that will stop him from scent marking all over because that is seriously getting annoying and is pissing me off (no pun intended). The SPCA is doing it for me for $75 instead of the $500 that the vet was going to charge. Sooo here's my plug, PLEASE donate to your local SPCA...they actually put all of the money to very good use and help puppies like Princeton who would be very sick without the expensive surgeries they need.

sooo remember This set?

Well it's becoming mouldy in member review which is really sad frown go breathe some life into it if you get a chance hehe

guess who got a temporary job out in Los Angeles!!!!

Remember how I used do dive shows?? Well I am doing them again apparently. My boss emailed me and asked if I wanted to work at the CA state fair in Los Angeles! Let me just give you the rundown of how fucking awesome this is:

1. all I do all day is jump on a diving board, and perform for people
2. in my down time I get to swim in the pool, play on the diving boards, and tan
3. my pay is usually around $65/day
4. I do five 20 min shows a day on weekdays and 7 on weekends
5. I get to work out because diving is HUGE for getting you in shape (which means I'm gonna be sore as fuck for the first couple days since I haven't been on a board since February)
6. annnnnnnnnd (here's the best part) ANYONE THAT LIVES IN THE AREA CAN COME AND MEET ME AND WATCH ME PERFORM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's just hope he doesn't put me on announcer duty, otherwise you will just get to see me flap my big mouth instead of dive. he does that sometimes because I'm one of the few divers that isn't shy and isn't afraid to actually TALK during the show.

but yeah, how amazing is that? I'm so happy smile smile smile smile smile smile

I just hope he doesn't stiff me like before and he actually pays me on time because I'm gonna need it! Especially since I'm not making him pay for my housing or my transportation

GAHHH NOW I'M ACTUALLY EXCITED TO MOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin

holy shit.....wait until you see this set we did yesterday.....

it will be submitted for review tomorrow so get yourself ready for this amazingness soon! Seriously I'm so impressed with the photography and how everything turned out. discreetexposure really knows what he's doing when it comes to being behind that lense!

seriously I can't wait for you all to see it. It is, without a doubt, the best set I've ever done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
JULY 7, 2008 @ 01:19 PM

wow what an awesome day!!!!

discreetexposure came up from Jersey and we shot three sets today. Each of them is sooo different from the other and I know you're going to love them all! I've never been so excited to do a shoot before and this was an awesome experience smile For the record ladies, Gary is an awesome photographer and I HIGHLY recommend him if you are looking for someone to take your photos for you. He's professional, patient and he doesn't mind if you're like me and you ask a bunch of questions haha. I felt very relaxed and comfortable shooting with him!!!!

Seriously though these sets are absolutely amazing and we had the best location ever haha. Can you say...nudist resort? Oh yeah. We rocked that shit out. If at least one of these sets doesn't go live I don't know what I'm going to do, because I don't think I can do much better than what we did today. Granted, I haven't seen any of the images on a computer screen yet, but from the camera screen they looked pretty rad!

well, now I'm exhausted (honestly you wouldn't believe how much it takes out of you to do multiple shoots) so I'm going to go lay on the couch, watch some TV and probably take a nap! Thanks again for everything Gary!!!!!!!!!!
