unfortunately for me it seems whenever I put up a set I love there are always a bunch of other AMAZING hopefuls sets that go up at the same time. Story of my life lol.
for the record, I didn't ruin a "perfectly good guitar" SO NO WORRIES!!!!! The entire bridge of the guitar was broken completely off, I had just glued it (very poorly might I add) back into place for the shoot lol. I had been planning on throwing it away for a while! And let me just say, smashing a guitar is A LOT harder than it looks
anyways, thank you guys very much for taking the time to look at it and especially if you've left a positive comment on it

well my loves, I've started writing a book. A friend of mine owns a publishing company and I nonchalantly mentioned that I wanted to write an autobiography and he said that if I did it, and he approved, he would publish it for me. So....I'm doing just that. It's funny, I never pictured myself as a writer, infact I was always the slacker in college writing classes that just BS'd papers....but I must've been good at it because I am proud to say I never got below a B on ANY college report/paper.
in any case, my goal is to have this written and published before the end of 2009 (barring any unforeseen circumstances of course).
soooo I was informed yesterday by the CHP that the guy they arrested for stealing my phone has been eluding police for over a year and has 3 outstanding warrants. The police keep telling me how brave I was for confronting him....but to be honest, had I known that little bit of info I would NOT have fucked with this dude haha. I wasn't brave, I was just naive and stupid! In any case, he is not getting out of jail any time soon so I think I'm remotely safe. Although they told me that I may have to come back up to Sacramento to testify against him in court since he has such a record. I'm not so keen on that idea because to be honest I don't want him to see what I look like again. It's funny because whenever I watch Law & Order I get SOOOO PISSED at the victims who refuse to testify in court....but now I have a new outlook and I understand their fear.
So, we'll have to see how this plays out. At least if I have to come back up the state of CA will be paying for all of my transportation and accommodations. Oy vey...I can't do ANYTHING the easy way can I? lol
in other news....Tuesday my set "SMASH!" goes up in Member Review!!!!! I'm sooo excited for this one guys, you don't even know! Seriously it's my favorite set of any that I've done. It's sooo out of character for me and it is just so much fun! it's also my submission for the "angriest set contest" so that should give you an idea of how cool it is 
And also thank you guys for all of the kind words on my Cattails set!!!!! 293 comments?! DANG!!!! I've never had so many comments on a set before that alone makes me so happy, so thank you so much for taking the time to look at it and comment on it!!!!!
(oh and btw, this coffee shop that I'm getting free interwebz at is AMAZING!!!! If you're ever in Sacramento make sure you check out Temple )

the BAD news is that I have to pretty much have a police escort everywhere I go while I'm here in Sac-town.
sooo let me tell you all another little story....seriously I think I'm going to write an autobiography because shit dude, you can't even make up half of the stuff that's happened to me in the past month! haha
sooo I suspended my phone service, but before I did, the idiot who stole it placed 2 phonecalls. I called the numbers from my other phone and got ahold of some crazy ghetto dude. He told me that his friend Kevin took my phone and that he said I was his girlfriend and I owed him money...which is OBVIOUSLY not true hahaha.
So anyways they told me that if I wanted my phone back I had to meet them at the local hospital with $100. The police here said that they wouldn't back me up and they told me not to go. Considering I wanted my phone back I said FUCK THAT and I brought my big muscley friend with me. I ended up meeting them there and the guy was in the backseat with 2 girls in the front. They claimed that they had no idea that I wasn't "Kevin's" girlfriend because he (and I quote) "He like to fuck around wit white girls and u is a white girl yo" the girl in the passenger seat who kept asking for the money claimed to be "Kevin's" sister and acted like she was clueless...but she CLEARLY wasn't clueless.
ummmm right.
Well my friend gave them $100 for me and they ended up giving my phone back. The clincher is that we got their license plate #, all of their descriptions, annnnnd they ALL had State Fair workers shirts on. When I got back to the fair grounds I did a show and then as I was being driven back to my car I saw those 3 fuckers. I told the guy driving the van to pull over and he immediately dispatched the police to get them. They caught one of the girls and the guy. I had to ID them through the fence so that they couldn't see me. I laughed when they put the girl on the ground and she started crying.....stupid bitch. I don't feel sorry at all because you do NOT fuck with me or my shit. Sooo anyways they didn't catch the girl who was the "sister" and she was the one who seemed to be the ringleader. The California Highway Patrol (hehe I just like saying that) recommended that I dye my hair or change my appearance somehow until they catch her because she obviously knows where I work at the fair since my sidekick was stolen off the table right behind the dive show. I really don't want to dye my hair again since I JUST got it to be blonde. SO I'm going to take my chances. I have to have a police escort everywhere though and I have to wear sunglasses and try to disguise myself since they think that the thieves are involved in a gang.
sooo here's to me having a price on my head! I love special attention....but this might be a LITTLE much.

anyone who's been following my blogs lately knows that I have fallen on hard times. Well let me tell you a little story called "my day yesterday."
so during the first dive show performance of the day one of our divers slipped off the board and split his shin wide open. It was about a 5 inch gaping wound and you could see his shin bone....not cool. So as I'm calling for paramedics I set my sidekick down on the MC table and ran to get help. When I came back.....no sidekick. Someone fuckin' stole my phone...my VERY IMPORTANT phone with some phone numbers in it that I do not want getting out. At first I thought that I had just misplaced it, but it's definitely not in my possession anymore. I called it but whomever has it turned it off. I don't want to cancel my service on it because I JUST payed my bill two days ago. I'm so upset with myself, but I wasn't really worrying about my phone at the time.
So, the day goes on and for lunch I tried to open a can of spaghetti-o's and the $10 can opener that I never even wanted to buy but HAD to so that I could eat totally shit the bed. I couldn't even open a fucking can. So I got pissed and threw a fit and started swearing and fuckin' chucked it at the garbage can, and if it wasn't really broken before, it is now.
At the end of the day after searching all of my things and the entire dive show area the entertainment rep for the fair took me over to the police station to file a theft report. When he took me back to the fair office he offered me a beer, but I really didn't feel like drinking at the moment so he gave me 3 to take back to my hotel room.
As I was driving back to the hotel I ran over a sneaker in the middle of the road that the car infront of me fucking threw out the window, and I'm lucky it didn't pop my tire. Finally I made it back to the hotel, now parking around here is MESSED UP so I was going kinda slow trying to find a temporary spot infront of the hotel. All of a sudden I see flashing lights in my rear view mirror. Yup...I got pulled over. The cop came up to my car and of course I have Princeton in the passenger's seat and he is going NUTS trying to attack the cop who's leaning into my window. He asked me if I had been drinking (THANK GOD I DIDN'T HAVE THAT BEER AT THE FAIRGROUNDS!!!!) because I was moving slow. I explained that I was looking for a parking spot and he said 'yeah you don't look like you really drink' (ummm ok....?). He asked for my license and when I handed it to him he goes "oh! You really are from New York huh?" (no dummy, I just like to drive this bird shit covered car around full of my belongings for fun). However, at least he was nice to me and didn't give me a ticket or anything. I told him about my day and thanked him for being the icing on the cake.
I almost had to laugh....in less than a month I've lost: a home, a job, and a phone. I get it California, you like to initiate your rookies.....but seriously can you lay the fuck off of me?
soooo don't plan on texting/emailing me anyone because I will not get your messages. Some fucking douchebag who has nothing better to do than ruin my life right now will be getting them.

It just sucks that I don't get any of the glory and I am a better diver than one of the girls who is diving in the show. I did end up going bungee jumping the other day and it was the most terrifying and exhilarating thing I've ever done...and I can't wait to do it again. Next time I'm going to jump backwards, infact if it's a slow day today...I'll probably do it before I go back to the hotel.
My parking situation is still fucked so I have to move my car every 2 hours AND pay for it each time...fuckin' sucks....but I have no other option.
by the way, I totally saw the biggest brightest shooting star as I was leaving the fairgrounds the other day. It wasn't even dark out, it was kinda twilighty and it was absolutely gorgeous. I made a wish, and now I can just sit, wait, and hope

by the way, I totally saw the biggest brightest shooting star as I was leaving the fairgrounds the other day. It wasn't even dark out, it was kinda twilighty and it was absolutely gorgeous. I made a wish, and now I can just sit, wait, and hope
So I figured out how to post journal entries from my sidekick (and although I can't pay my bill much longer I'm gonna use it while I can).
This morning I snuck my dog out of the hotel for a walk. There is a park across the street and when I sat down on a bench I started to cry.
An old homeless woman came and sat down beside me. She had the most beautiful old grey eyes. Infact she was a very beautiful woman who looked like time just snuck up on her too quickly. She asked me why I was crying, and I gave her the abridged version of my story. She looked at me and smiled. It then hit me that I was discussing petty problems with a woman who literally had nothing.
She looked me dead in the eye and I could feel her analyzing my broken up insides. She told me that God has a plan for everyone, and although I'm far from religious it had a profound impact on me. She never once complained or discussed her situation and she acted like no matter how she got to where she is there was always hope. She told me that hope is the one thing that I can never lose...little does she know how right she is, considering Hope is my middle name.
This woman was so incredibly wise. Moreso than I'll ever be. I wish more than anything that I could pay her back somehow for just giving me the time of day and showing compassion to me, a fauxhawked, bull-ringed, tattooed stranger that most people on the street look at with disgust.

I love that my boss put the $500/night hotel room in MY name, didn't reimburse me for gas, lied to me and told me I could have my dog at the hotel so now I have to pay a $250 fee and didn't pay for my parking which is $7.50/night for the 18 nights I'm here, and now I'm fucked. I seriously hate my fucking life. I just want to go home, and forget that I even thought for a second I could do anything with myself.
I hope that tomorrow when I go bungee jumping the chord snaps, and if it doesn't, I'm going to keep trying until it does. That's about how I feel right now.
