one week until my birthday *le sigh*
it's all good though, I'm not too bummy anymore because I might be able to work on my birthday. I started my new temporary job at the salon today and I like it a lot! They aren't too strict with dress code so I can leave my bullring in and have my tattoos showing as long as the district manager doesn't decide to pop in sometime. Not to mention I get all salon services for free (yesssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) so I can have a shitload of stuff done to my hair that would normally cost quite a chunk of change. I am thinking of gradually going white-blonde and putting some bold color in it, I haven't really decided yet though haha. Not to mention now I get free eyebrow waxings so I can cut that out of my budget for at least the summer.
I guess I'm just happy that I am going to be having some income now because I am definitely scraping the bottom of the barrel to pay my bills and get the car fixed up. It's scary because I'm finally starting to feel like an "adult" and I guess it's about time since I'm going to be 22. I know that 22 isn't that old....but I feel like it is. I looked at myself in the mirror the other day and realized I'm already starting to get wrinkles on my forehead....I almost cried. But then I remembered I'm moving to California where botox flows like water, and I felt much better HAHAHAHA.
anyways, you guys should REALLY check out Taye's set that won the Best Sexy Story contest because it's absolutely AMAZING! Check it out HERE!!!!

or they get botox. they are not real. i thought i was weird for having wrinkles on my forehead, but after hearing someone else close to my age has them too, i know i am normal. the media skews our views of how we are "supposed" to be. and it can take a real number on your self esteem. i'd say i plan to age gracefully, but there is just no grace about me.

Sigh...you are sooo lucky! That would be the perfect job! Also all the free services, it's making me drool! That idea for your hair would be awesome! Maybe I could stop by and get my hair did before my set if you work Saturday! I'm a good tipper, hehe! I'm hoping that doesn't come of sounding perverse, I have a non intentional habit of that. Another June baby! Mines on the 26th and I'll be 27, so don't start feeling too old. That'll make me ancient!
