Yesterday, I stuck my fingers down my throat for the first time ever in order to make myself vomit. I'm not going to get into why I did it right now but I did it and I learned something. I learned that it's not as easy as beautiful people make it look.
I called in sick to work today! Shhhh.... don't tell anyone but I'm not really sick! hehe!
I can't remember the last time I ditched work, it feels good. I'm a first year electrician apprentice and I truly hate it. I've really never had a job that I liked that much before but I think I can say with confidence that I hate this one the most. I promised my parents that I'd at least give it one year before I look for another job and it is helping me to afford to go back to school this fall. I'm going to try to get a degree in advertising and hopefully never have to work a blue collar job ever again. Not saying there is anything wrong with any kind of blue collar work but it's just not right for me.
I really need this break. I get Monday off for the 4th so I just bought myself a four day weekend!

This is exactly what I needed today. The past two days have been some of the hardest day I'e had to go through in a while and it's taken all of my strength just to narrowly get by. When you have to choose between your sanity and your future, what do you choose? I just need some lovin right now.
Anyway, I love Portugal. The Man! They're definitely one of my favorite bands and even on my worse days, they can bring a little light into my world. Maybe they can do the same for you. All of you should click on this link and watch this amazing video.

Hi, my name is Kevin Raad. I live in the Denver, Colorado. I've been doing photography for seven years. I studied photography for seven semesters between high school and college. Three of those seven were AP or college level classes. Most of my work has been with film but recently got a digital SLR and am ready to expand my digital portfolio. I'd be willing to travel about two and a half hours to you but don't be afraid to come to me either.

Once upon a time there was a crooked tree and a straight tree, and they grew next to each other. And every day the straight tree would look at the crooked tree and he would say, “You’re crooked. You’ve always been crooked and you’ll continue to be crooked.”
“But look at me! Look at me!” said the straight tree. “I’m tall, and I’m straight.”
And one day the lumberjacks came into the forest and looked around, and the manager in charge said, “Cut all the straight trees!”
And that crooked tree is still there to this day, growing strong, and growing strange.
