I called in sick to work today! Shhhh.... don't tell anyone but I'm not really sick! hehe!
I can't remember the last time I ditched work, it feels good. I'm a first year electrician apprentice and I truly hate it. I've really never had a job that I liked that much before but I think I can say with confidence that I hate this one the most. I promised my parents that I'd at least give it one year before I look for another job and it is helping me to afford to go back to school this fall. I'm going to try to get a degree in advertising and hopefully never have to work a blue collar job ever again. Not saying there is anything wrong with any kind of blue collar work but it's just not right for me.
I really need this break. I get Monday off for the 4th so I just bought myself a four day weekend!
This job may just be the death of me.
