This week has been so uncomfortable emotionally, so to counterbalance, I bought a few dresses.

Guess who had the raddest opportunity to shoot a new set with Axys ?

I am so sad that there is a limit of photos that can be uploaded. I wish all of them could be used!
She did such a wonderful job. Excitement, excitement, excitement!!

The beautiful, enchanting, and prolific Shaine Suicide shot my newest set, which is going to in Member Review April 23rd. Here's a teaser or two for all you lovelies. I think it's absolutely wonderful and even better than my first set, Bone Meal. So keep a look out for La Banlieue.

I recently shot my newest set. And here's a teaser.
I'm fairly certain this set is going to be a favourite of mine.

Here's a piece from a beautiful class I'm taking, Contemporary Irish Women's Literature.
This is one of my favourite poems by one of my favourite poets.


Mise Éire
Eavan Boland

I won't go back to it –
into old dactyls,
oaths made
by the animal tallows
of the candle –

land of the Gulf Stream,
the small farm,
the scalded memory,
the songs
that bandage up the history,
the words
that make a rhythm of the crime

where time is time past.
A palsy of regrets.
No. I won't go back.
My roots are brutal:

I am the woman –
a sloven's mix
of silk at the wrists,
a sort of dove-strut
in the precincts of the garrison –

who practises
the quick frictions,
the rictus of delight
and gets cambric for it,
rice-coloured silks.

I am the woman
in the gansy-coat
on board the 'Mary Belle',
in the huddling cold,

holding her half-dead baby to
her as the wind shifts east
and north over the dirty
water of the wharf

mingling the immigrant
guttural with the vowels
of homesickness who neither
knows nor cares that

a new language
is a kind of scar
and heals after a while
into a passable imitation
of what went before.

On January 4th, my first set Bone Meal shot by the amazing Shaine Suicide made it front page and as "Set of the Day". The response has been nothing short of overwhelming, in the most amazing way possible. Hilariously, the preview photo used on Suicide Girls' Facebook and Instagram is the shot where my back is arched back on the massive chair. The only and seldom "negative" comments to be found were on both of those platforms, by people who hadn't viewed the entire set, accusing me of being flat-chested and sick-looking. I was surprised to read these comments seeing that from a young age I've always correlated Suicide Girls and open-mindedness and no judgment. I then realized that these people don't have memberships and were basing their words on that one photo. Again, hilarious. I can't remember the last time someone said I was flat-chested - I wear 34D. So this inspired me to blog and to thank every member for their support and immeasurable love. This just fuelled my motivation to get more sets up.

Lastly, things have been extremely hectic with a new semester of school starting, but I've read all of the messages I've received. Thank you all!
