So, a lot has happened since I last updated..which was awhile ago.. because, ya'know, so much has happened. I was planning on really getting into them, but then I had phone called and AIMS and messages, and now I'm REALLY feeling typed out. and tired. long drive.
So, I'm just going to update ya'll quickly for now, maybe more details later.
- Finished school for the semester. I have no confidence that I did well enough to retain my scholorship, in which case.. I'm not sure what I'll be doing about that.. but it's possible I managed okay.
- Drove to Kansas
- By way of going to Kansas I stopped in Fresno (Na-nanananana, the katamari damacy) and Las Vegas (What happens there)
- Met up with my friend Troy in Las Vegas. His brother's a bartender there, who hooked us up with free drinks like 2 nights running, and then we were competely too far gone to do anything exciting for the remainder of the trip other than in-room movies and board games with my Sister and Bro-in-law who live out there. That was just what the doctor ordered, however, to get us back on our feet for the big drive to Wichita
- Did do some drunk-dials tho...
- The 18 hour drive was pretty uneventful, oh EXCEPT we got pulled over by Oklahoma Police for Troy's lack of a seatbelt, who then insisted that there drug sniffing k9 had marked our car as hauling kilos of coke. The doggie was just sitting there panting, unless that is how it alerts the police. crafty coppers, crafty!
- No drugs, of corse, not even an advil. but they turned out my possessions inside out for like 45 minutes and tried to catch me in some like first-mission-in-phoenix-wright-style contradictions. Like "Wait, you say you stayed 4 days in Vegas? Your friend clearly said you stayed 5! Are you sure you weren't really in... MEXICO!!!"
- OBJECTION!!!!
- And, now I'm back home, updating on my folks computer. I've got a vegas vblog on my phone, but I need to figure out how to get it onto one of these machines, and see if I can get software to convert it into a youtube friendly format without paying 30 bucks to quicktime..but I guess I need to get that done anyway for
