Not doing much recently, working and chillin with a buddy playing Warmachine. It's a pretty cool table-top game I've only been playing for a few months now. It's kind of Warhammer meets Warhammer 40k with a splash more complexity and some steampunk icing 
Unfortunately I haven't had much steady work, so I'm a little stressed, but stress relief is what gaming's all about right? Lol

Toronto Pride parade is coming up again, it's on the same day as Canada day. Possible plans to go to the ROM to see a new dinosaur exhibit, then Pride then beach then who knows what. And of course drinking from exiting the museum onwards(gotta have some respect for the museum

Possibility of a F/T position in this place and it's unionized so I would get decent benefits and job security(until I eventually quit ). I ordered NEW GLASSES!!! They should b coming in any day now, should b tomorrow XD They're semi-rimless with fairly wide band arms in a gunmetal finish. I want NOW! lol

Well, I just reread my last post and thought "wow, I must have been in a good mood" Well, I didn't get the TV I was hoping for but I did get gift certificates towards getting one, which I promptly took advantage of but that was the highlight of the last few months. the cash I'd saved up leading up to x-mass got me through without going into debt but just barely. My first day back working in January I hurt my back and was off for 2 weeks, then I had to spend a lot of money living up to my responsibilities leading up to my brother's wedding(so much for not going into debt). Since then I've gotten better and am currently working a new placement 4 days a week(my choice) and working for my buddy on saturdays. I'm just starting to claw my way out of debt again(at least the debt I've incurred since January). The job my other friend introduced me to was essentially a insurance sales gig with a social spin. If I was a social person by nature I could prolly do a decent living off the job, if I was a social butterfly I could prolly get rich doing it.... but I'm not, I'm borderline anti-social with low self confidence. So I thanked them for the opportunity but declined. Anyway, it's dark and cold with little to look forward to atm, so I'm going to stop b4 I get even more depressed, l8r....

So, let's see, since Oktoberfest I've continued in the same temp placement as b4, decent enough pay to allow me to save up a bit of $$$ for when things get lean again. I may have till christmas or later there but I really don't expect it and since it's order picking (which I really don't like, and frankly I suck at it) I'm well past the point of being bored of the job and am just waiting for them to get rid of me, lol. Not sure if I mentioned this b4, but I'm also working saturdays for my buddy, which just about covers my rent all by itself with just 4 days a month(hence the ability to save with my other job
). I also got a message last week from another friend of mine offering some sort of customer service job that's part time/make ur own hours type deal. Been too busy with my current jobs to really have a chance to check it out but I will b sitting in on a meeting this sunday to get a better idea of what it's about. I would love to b able to just do the temp work part-time and do something in a different field the rest of the time Anyway, this december it looks like I have some changes coming my way, for good or ill it has yet to b determined but either way I'll survive.
As for what I did this past weekend that kept me busy, well, my brother had his Buck & Doe on friday(which, for those who don't know the term, is a fundraiser/party for a couple that is engaged). There were games and contests u could buy into as well as a raffle for prizes. I was one of 3 bartenders. It was my first time behind the bar and despite it being pretty fast paced(and falling behind a bit) I think I'd like to do it again sometime, just get a chance to develop the habits I'd need to b a real bartender some time. On saturday I was up early to work for my buddy, it was a damn brutal day starting at 6am and ending at 9pm despite having an extra guy. Then on sunday I went for the tux fitting with the rest of my brother's side of the wedding party(that went WAY faster than I expected), and when my dad and I got home I went promptly back to bed for another 6h sleep of which I was in desperate need
I think that just about covers what's going on in my life atm(a little sad that a month can b summed up that easily), but I am curious as to what turns my life may take over the next few weeks. I am anticipating it and dreading it in equal measures(and kinda wondering if my family got me that TV I've been asking for since last christmas). Hopefully I will remember to give an update after christmas, till then, ttfn

I got so TOTALLY hammered friday night that it knocked me on me ass as soon as I went in to the warm cabin. Lol, apparently I was quite social(which I am usually not). It was fun, and after a lot of sleep and a couple of Advil I was ready for round 2 on saturday(although I managed to pace myself a little better). Well, I went brother and his fiance who were the only ones there I knew out of the group that booked the "cabins" but I had a blast anyway " I was SO glad to b getting 3 days off straight, recently I've only had one day off a week so it felt like a full on vacay, lol. Well I gotta get some sleep b4 I go back to work tomorrow, so night night XD
