The last week I had 8 wisitors:
Whales are cool, but they eat the fish from my long line while I'm hauling...
...Bastards!
On a different note,
I'm done with the first sitting on my first tattoo :-). yay!
it was 4-5 hrs, I have 5-6 hrs. left, we're gonna finish it in 3 weeks.
Can't wait to see how it will look, nothing is finished yet, but it looks good so far :-)
It's based on the best RPG ever :-)
Here are some pics of the work in progress,
I'm in Oslo now, wisiting my sister and her 3week old girl Aurora :-)
I'll blog again soon :-)
tata
Only 10 days left of work :-)
Can't wait to get back home, fishing sucks atm. or as they would say on Discovery, we're currently not on the fish...
I'm trying something new now, uploading photos taken from my iPad...let's see how it turns out
Getting my first tattoo when I get back home, based on the best RPG ever :-)
I'm booked for two sittings, and I'm hoping for my stubborness to get me through the pain... hehe
I'lllet you know how it goes :-)

it's been forever since my last blog now, can't really say I have a good excuse...
I've been working some, and I just got back home from my last shift.
I'm currently visiting my sister in Oslo, it's nice to go visit family once in a while :-)
yesterday we went out to a "ROXETTE" consert! it was so much fun, it's a 2 hr. drive from where she live, her boyfriend was driving, and she is 8 months pregnant, so I was the only one drinking...
the consert was great, I've been a fan for 20 years, and they still got what it takes :-)
here's a couple of videos from the glory days :-)
I´m leaving for work again tonight in aprox. 4 hrs. I´ll be away for 4 weeks.
I can´t say that I´m thrilled about leaving again, it´s worse before I go, but once I´m on board again everything is fine. It´s the last days before coming home, and before leaving, that´s stressfull.
Last week I stayed home relaxing and watching tv, I watched True Blood 22 hrs. straight, season 2 and half season 3. My night/day rhythm has been screwed up ever since, hehe. Two days later I watched the rest of season 3 and 4 :-)
Watching Tv series is quite fun while sitting in a pitch black room with a 92" screen :-)
I took one last trip to the cabin on friday, I got a call from my Internet SP, telling me that the equipment for the cabin was ready. So I had to go install it :-)
The Prints by Phoenix was also ready from the Framer, so I couldn´t wait to go see them. They looks great, I love them. Three of them is hanging in my room at the cabin, and one is in the hallway of my house :-)
I have some pics of how the framed prints look:
My pictures is taken on my iPhone, and don´t quite do them justice, they look much better irl.
well, that´s it for now, I´ll see you all later :-)
sry Eurekaisonfire, but I´m incapable of taking sexy photos....
well.... maybe if you happened to be in front of the lens, I could ![]()

ttyl :-)
Today I'm back at the cabin,
my uncle passed away last week, and the funeral is today. He and my aunt are the closest neighbours to our cabin, so we have some extra guests staying here for the weekend.
I am ok, the hard part is seeing all those that aint....
On a diferent note,
I stopped by a framer today, I bought four prints from Phoenix which I'm framing and going to hang in my room at the cabin...
Framing them cost a small fortune, but it's worth it :-)
I'll upload some photos when I get them back, not sure if They'll be finished before I go back at sea, but I hope so.

I have spent the weekend in Oslo, visiting my sister and my future brother in law.
It have been a fun weekend, we went skiing on saturday and stopped by the track to watch the Cross Country World Cup, 50 km. for men. It was really fun, it was my first time by the track and I´m definitive going next time I have the opportunity.
Sunday we went to see the ski jumpers, that was way more fun than watching on tv :-) we were seated next to the only Japanese fans, so we were on tv quite a few times, hehe :-)
I said I would upload some photos from our cabin, and here they are, together with the photos from the weekend:

Some pictures from Saturday:
Sunday from the Ski Jump arena:
That´s all for now peeps,
tnx for reading :-)
I finally got home from work last tuesday, it was a long trip out, and it´s really good to come home to family and friends :-)
My parents own a cabin that we have been building additional space on for the last 6 months :-)
it´s soon finished, I guess we should be pretty much done in 4 days.
Today we went skiing...
Regardless of what they say about norwegians and skiing, I suck.... my balance is not really any good and I keep falling all the time.
But it sure was fun :-)
This is the important part:
That´s all for now, I´ll trow in a blog later this week, or maybe next :-D

The christmas week was pretty special last year...
I came home from work late night, des. 22nd. and began hanging my new JVC X3 Projector in my Home Theatre :-D
After 4 hrs. I was finished, and finally went to bed.
The morning after I got to spend a couple of hrs. watching it, of cource I could not stay in my basement watching TV, christmas is family time :-) So I spent 23. with my family, and doing christmas preparations...
24th is the day we celebrate christmas here in Norway, I allways spend the afternoon/evening with my parents. We are usually gathered the whole family, this year we were 16 persons :-)
At 4 pm most of us went to church, an hour later we got back home for christmas dinner. My family eat lamb for christmas dinner, it's a dish called "Pinnekjøtt", the name refferes to how it traditionally is cooked.
After all has finished the meal, it's time to open presents... my younger sister has been in charge of picking presents and reading out loud who they are to and from, for the last ten years. This year was no exeption.
Opening presents with 16 ppl present takes some time I can tell ya, hehe. Three hrs. later we are done, and things calms down as those of us with kids, leave for home to put them to bed.
The day after, I spend some hrs. on board my ship, doing some paperwork.
The rest of the day I spend with my family, over at my older sisters house.
The Second day of christmas, my older sister and her husband invited the whole family over for a Lobster dinner :-) later in the evening they have planned to have a Voerspiel/Pre Party.
We had to drop the party... The weather started to get worse in the afternoon, and by 6 pm. it was blowing at hurricane force, and we lost the Electricity arround that time. Without any electricity there was no way that the pub could have any arrangement, so we ended up staying home with wine, beer, and cheese. It was still a nice evening.
I ended up sleeping on a couch, walking home was no option in that kind of weather.
My plan for the next 3 days was relaxing in my Home Theatre, watching plenty of movies and tv :-D
Remember my new Projector? Well, turns out it don't work without electricity.... yay!
So, I ended up being a bit more social than planned this christmas.
We got the electricity back on des. 29th at 5pm
30th I arranged a big game of Paintball, it was fun :-D
we blew up aprox. 25 grenades and 35 Smoke grenades and shot 40 000 paintballs. hehe
This was the last time we played at the Field, they demolished the building 3d of january.
New years eve, I spent with my family,
First everyone, once more was gathered with my parrents for dinner :-)
later me and my nephew watched last episode of last years season of Dr. Who, and also the Christmas Spesials...
Earlier on the day, my brother asked me if I could take an extra trip at sea, because the mother in law of the other first mate was sick, and he wanted to stay home with his wife and kids.
The prospect of going back out so soon gave me no joy, but in the end it will be more dollars for me :-D
Well...
That's about everything, I'm still at sea, I have been home 10 days (3 of them without electrisity) the last 5 months.... I'll finally be home again on monday.
The fishing is Poor, unfortunatly, but I'll soon be home and everything forgotten :-)
For everybody that reads this, thanks for bothering :-)
tata
I get home from work des. 23d, I've been working 16-17 hr. days for 3 weeks now, and it's starting to wear everyone down.
thankfully it slows down on sunday evening when we head back home :-)
