So that one blog with lots of pics over the past few months I promised? Right herrrr....
And now a temporary break/most hilarious thing I've seen on YT in months:
And now, back to the pics!
That's about it on my end, but finally, this is something I've unfortunately failed to do in the past: promoting SGs and hopefuls I like. So without further ado, here's some of my favorites over the past few months!
That's all for now, folks!
For the haters:

I have nothing but confidence in this. The reviews at SXSW so far have been GLOWING. April 5th needs to hurry the fuck up and get here.
Oh yeah, bigger blog with pics and shit coming up soon. Probably before the end of the month! Take care everyone, and Happy Early St. Patty's!

Ahh...let's see here...
-Going back to school for a Bachelor's in Computer Sciences; I want something in the logistics field (where my rate was in the Navy), but due to how much math is involved which I suck at, I think I'll change majors over the summer. Overall, I'm just happy to be using my post-911 g.i. bill.
-Working out enough to reach my goal of 190lbs. Would prefer 185, but I'd look sickly and have hardly any muscle. Will post pics soon.
-Got a free iPhone from my landlady the other day...HOW ABSURDLY COOL IS THAT SHIT?!

-Took some head-shots earlier today too courtesy of this awesome chick; which I'll post pics of the shots later on too. I plan on getting back into acting since living in L.A. for the first time in 14 years. It'll be hard balancing that out while going to school full-time and the reserves situation, but I'm pretty confident I'll get it all figured out soon enough.
Bottom line: I'm living in a home full of joy and mutual respect (seriously, my lesbian landladies love me as a tenant), life is full of opportunities right now, And I FUCKING. LOVE. L.A.!

Top 10 Favorite Movies of 2012...here we go:
Honorable Mention:

Sucks to leave this one off, but I wasn't too satisfied with the ending. In terms of overall scope though, I guess you could see this as the "Empire" to Craig's Bond run, and every bit as good.

Just about everything in this vid makes sense...still, it's the best trilogy I've seen since the original Star Wars.
This...has been an interesting past few weeks since my last blog. Let's begin, shall we?
-REALLY wanted to get out of the Navy altogether but...old habits die hard, I guess...so I'm now in the reserves.
Decent gig. May deploy before the end of the year, which is good.
-Found out I may have to deal with the possiblity of sheltering my Mom for the rest of her life because she can't find full-time work, she's prone to back problems so severe she somtimes can't get out of bed in the morning, so technically she's handicapped (yet the fucking insurance companies keep turning her down), and she can barely afford to pay the rent let alone afford to buy groceries for a decent homecooked meal in a cockroach infested house she's staying in as a roommate. Which leads me to...
-Me SERIOUSLY considering going back into active duty. If anyone cares, eventually I'll get into the reason why I left.
-Moved out from a friend's place and back to one of my favorite parts of San Diego, Spring Valley. I feel good here. Great neighborhood, nice family I moved in with too.
-Met and hung out with, without a doubt one of the friendliest, sweetest, smartest, most non-mean-spirited-bone-in-her-body women I've ever had the pleasure of hanging out with and knowing, Salliss. And I really mean all that; she's such an awesome person and a great conversationalist (one of the few people I've known that talks quite a bit, yet I'm never annoyed and I'm hanging on every word...that's saying something) had a great time showing her around S.D., my old neighborhoods, seeing Dredd 3D (FUCKING AWESOME), Looper (MUST SEE AGAIN, I liked it, but I feel it's one of those movies I'll love once I see again,
similar to how I felt about The Prestige), and debating our love for Smashing Pumpkins pre or post breakup/reunion.
-In other news, their latest album, Oceania, isn't bad:
Finally, here's some IG pics I've took the past few weeks (jimwalls):

No one will be able to do what this man did. There will be imitators like Bay and Ratner, but no one mixed action, suspense, and true bravado like Tony Scott did. Amazing tribute right here:
"You're So Cool"
"You're So Cool"
I officially know where all the love for Joseph Gordon Levitt really took off from; I just saw Mysterious Skin, a tragic, uncomfortable, brutal, and amazingly moving film that I highly encourage everyone to see who's a fan of indie movies. I stress that the subject matter is really fucked up, but JGL's and Brady Corbett's performances alone will make you think twice about turning it off.

Wow it's been a while, and I'm definitely late on this one...so here it is, my annual San Diego Comic-Con blog with a brief rundown:
Unintentionally creeped out actress Lake Bell. Her co-star on Children's Hospital Erinn Hayes seemed to like me though. Wayyyy more zombies, Jokers, and Boba Fetts than slave girl Leias and Wonder Women this year which made me sad. Thomas Jane is the ayatollah of awesome. I have a new fondness for Emily Blunt. Joseph Gordon-Levitt strikes me as someone who knows he's too cool for school, but downplays it a lot. Ellen Page is the most cutest, elegant, and tiniest Canadian I've ever seen. Tita is the sexiest, sweetest, most elegant, and tiniest Canadian I've ever seen who I can't wait to trade flair with again next year if she shows up. I almost got lost in Milloux's eyes, they were so pretty. I totally regret not getting a picture with Radeo as Batgirl. Elysium looks to blow District 9 completely out of the water with Sharlto Copley as the bad guy, also there's no aliens this time. The Expendables 2 panel was dope but I didn't appreciate watching Schwarzenegger trying to steal Stallone's thunder when he made his surprise appearance, although it was awesome and unexpected. Poor Dolph though, he only got to speak twice. Really proud of how far Terry Crews has come. Thinking back on it, I'm kinda surprised Norris didn't make an appearance. Kate Beckinsale (who's almost 40) on her worst day > Jessica Biel at her best. BIGGEST FAIL: Waiting in line to Hall H (biggest hall in the Con specifically made for the weekend's biggest events like Avengers last year and such) on Saturday morning from 7:30am starting roughly a mile and a half away from the convention and arriving to THE VERY FRONT OF THE LINE by 1:30ish, only to have some old dude tell me and everyone else, "By order of the fire marshal, being as how we're over capacity and no one wants to leave Hall H, you're probably NOT GONNA GET IN AT ALL TODAY"...that shit was soul-crushing; I'll probably never do Hall H again.
Sash is a wonderful woman who I should've smiled more with in the pictures we took together, she's just so awesome. Bob looks better than ever and her describing the taste of the True Blood drink was hysterical. Kemper maybe the hottest redhead I've seen up close...like really. There was also that one I encountered dressed as Black Widow, twice too...I should've gotten her number. Didn't see any of the JoBlo.com crew that I usually spot on the first day sometimes. Bought the first appearance of Gambit in Uncanny X-Men #266; they were selling it for $85, they gave it to me for $50, awesome-sauce.
Overall, a pretty good time. Still gotta say '09 and '04 were the best.
Here's some random pics from the 4 days there...

Some other randomness...
And now the best part of the Con, obviously...
That's it for now, I'll try to blog more often. Got more time to myself now that I'm out of the Navy...sort of...not quite...
more on that later.
