Wow! I am a fucking idiot sometimes. I went down to Ocean City MD to hang out with a friend of mine about a month ago. At the time I didnt have a car, so I talked my mother into lending me her Jeep for the day/night so I could go down there. As I am getting ready to leave, I was trying to set up my radar detector to the windshield, but it didnt fit right and out of pure laziness I decided that I would just leave it laying on the dashboard. As I am pulling away from my house, I say to myself, "bet that comes back to bite me in the ass." Sure enough, I am doing 85 through Delaware and get pulled over because the "highway" I am on drops its speed limit to 40 in certain areas. Long story short, my mother got into an accident the day before and took her registration and insurance cards out of the glove compartment and left it in her purse, the cop I guess felt bad for me as I was frantically looking for her paper work and gives me a warning for the speeding and tickets for the insurance and registration that were voidable if I faxed proof of both. WELL, that was a month ago, and I was supposed to have had them in by today. Of course, I completely forget and somehow shot out of bed this morning remembering that today was the last day before I would have to appear in Delaware court for it. Should have been in court by 9 AM, its like noon when I get out of bed, I call the courthouse, the lady seems like she is having the worst possible day, barks at me to call back in half an hour cuz shes gotta talk to the judge. Extremely luckily for me, the judge tells her that if I fax the information by today, my bench warrant will be dropped, I run my ass to kinko's and fax everything to them and all is good again ..... PHEW

Who knows how long my lucky streak will last ..... anyone want to go to A.C.?
