I made a flyer for my friend's band's tour. Into The Storm's Light Lover's and Heat Monger's tour. It was rejected. Here is it. I put DAYS of blood sweat and tears into it, so here it is anyway.

Job hunting still, I realize I have been out of work for six months! It's insane and I hate myself a little more each day because of it. My friends have a great time telling me how I'm a piece of shit who is poor. Wonderful.
I don't need pity,I need a fucking break. I'm a human. I am trying. I am handing out resume's I'm not asking for fucking advice anymore because I know I'm not stupid, the jobs simply are not there. I don't need another minimum wage wank of a job. I need a serious job that will treat me like a human and not insult my basic rights to breaks and proper safety.

So here I am still working on my website. it's not good enough to launch, probably won't be for a while. I feel a little feisty but it's all in good spirits. What else can I do? I'm not going to pout about how hard life is, it's shit for everyone sometimes. But the sun is out, my vegetables are growing, the music is loud and I'm OK. I'm poor and a little pissed, but I'm OK.

So much has happened.
My friend moved into my house and is settling in nicely.
We've already had so many adventures.

I'm starting a garden.
Kale, lettuce, tomatoes, lavender and rosemary so far. Soon I'll be planting potato, pumpkin, bell peppers and squash.

Website building is going smoothly, I am hoping to launch soon! It will feature my artwork and photography as well as collaborations and commissions. There is a lot to finish still.
I am also in the process of constructing my first band flyer and they are paying me for it so it's going to be epic.
I'm working on a few other commissions as well and steadily things are coming to fruition.

There is so much going on my head is swimming but I feel that my work is nourishing me well and I'm not going to let it break me. It's all about the harmony and balance. And sometimes playing music to calm the tension.

I feel summer creeping in.

I may have found a person to start a new band with. Crossing my fingers.

This time around I'll be playing more Bass than guitar. I need a fretless vintage Bass, bad. I love that sound and feel

I'm writing songs already.

Beading and jewelry making is back lately too.

So is a bunch of other big art projects.

A symbol of death can mean much more than the unavoidable doom we all meet with one day. The earth is dying, we should mourn her.
We are all crawling toward the black sea where we were born.
A symbol of death can be one of change. Things change and ideas and eras die.
A symbol of death can be one that outcasts hold dear. This is the ugly truth we dont hide from.
We find tranquility in its darkness and we find strength in something others may fear.
We trust her, the lady of death.
We know she will bring us fortune before she takes our last breath.

Other than that, how is everyone?

I'm currently writing a sci fi story and painting and sculpting. I will have photos of that soon, as well as some photography I've been working on! Lot's of great creative vibes lately.
