It’s been a little while since my last entry so here is a rundown of the last week in the wonderful world of me.
On Monday, I experienced my first earthquake after living in California for the last two years. It was like someone took a giant vibrator and put it underneath the floor of my apartment and turned it on for a couple seconds. Then it sounded like someone was fiddling with my door. It was a little anticlimactic but it was still kind of cool.
On Tuesday, nothing to report.
On Wednesday, I got floor tickets to No Doubt/Garbage/Distillers for the two shows in Long Beach. I was happy. Now I’m fairly broke. Work sucked the big one. Other than that, nothing to report.
On Thursday, nothing to report.
On Friday, went to the SGLA supper. Had some thai food, met some new people, finally sat close enough to talk with badm0j0, in general had a grand ole time. Then went to dr h’s place for a little aftersupper get together. Wasn’t feeling so good so I bailed out early and since I was driving, dragged EricAllen and his friend with me. (Sorry about that Eric.) I left so early I didn’t even get to see the mushroom dance.
Today, I am the luckiest boy on earth – I get to go to work.

the earthquakes we had on monday were weak. wait until you actually have shit start falling off the walls.. or even worse... out of cabinets. not to mention cracks in walls, celings, etc... or when they last for a longer than a few seconds. OOOOH YEAH. thats some fun shit.

dinner was cool. its too bad that you think you can be called "jason". foolish, foolish canadian. there can indeed only be one... and i have claimed that position. and no, its not a bent over position. but we can work out some kind of deal so that when i'm not around, you can use the name. we'll talk.

dammit...oh yeah the AERTHquakes...I knew there was a down side to moving to LA that I was forgetting. all this talkign of the LASG meetups and all these other people moving to la distracted me from the thought that some time whn I'm not prepared, all my precious doodads and whatnots could come crashing down onto my floor and I'll have to freak out and get in a doorway. what's the deal with apartments on that...if your ceiling breaks in an earthquake, does that come out of your security deposit?
-actually, I'm kind of actually curious for the answer,
Dave
