I haven't been here in a while. I suck. :s

So, here's where I'm at:
I'm still in my new position at work. It seems to be going well and it's been extended for another 2 or 3 months (with the possibility of it becoming indefinite). I'm doing a lot of training with this job as well, which I really like. It's probably my favourite part of the job. All in all, the work keeps me busy, but I have a flexible schedule.

My sleeve is pretty much finished, just got to do some background work. Kind of looking forward to moving on to something else. I'm thinking Ill go for a chest tattoo next, but I'd like to finish my other arm as well. O my other arm I have a black and grey pinup though, and I was thinking of doing some color. Do you guys think the would be a mistake? Think it could work?

As for my love life, well I was dating someone for a few months, but we didn't end up meshing. Sadly I'm back on the dating scene, which means I'm trying to wade through multiple online dating sites. It kinda sucks. I think over the past few years I might have dated every girl in my province at likes big, burly, bearded, and tattooed guys. I guess I don't really need a girlfriend, but I feel lonely at times especially with the holiday season coming up.

Is it weird I want to get married someday? That I'm kind of jealous of those people who seemingly found the "one".
Sigh... it's been happening more and more lately.

So, the girl I've been dating asked me to meet her mom lately. Not much of a big deal really except she wanted me to wear long sleeves. Can you guess why? Yeah, to hide my tattoos. At first I kind of thought I could go along with the idea, but after some time of thinking about it I really started to feel sick about it. I didn't get my tattoos to hide them, and anyone that doesn't approve of me because of them can promptly fuck off.
Kind of sucks though, we've started to drift a bit. I don't know if it is directly related to me not wanting to cover my tattoos, or its the various other things she has going on right now (of which she has many), but I've been fighting the urge to cut and run on her.
I really want to stick it out and try for a more serious relationship, but shouldn't a relationship mean that the people involved are happy with one another?

Going to have to join the Geezers group in a month or so. Kind of depressing.

So... I suck. I don't really have an excuse for the long absense from blogging beyond pure laziness.
Regardless, I've been around the site a lot posting comments here and there.

What's new:
Well I've been getting some good news as of late.
First, I've been given a promotion of sorts at my job. It's only a temporary position (3 months), but it will get my foot in the door for moe opportunities when they come up. Also, this position will provide some great perks! Shorter shifts, make my own hours, and I'll get Christmas and New Years off! I'm pretty excited about it!

Second, I've given in and started to date again. It's not a new girl this time but rather a girl I was dating a few months back. She's not technically an ex as we were only dating when our lack of time for one another caused us to end it. So since she's technically not an ex, I'm still good right? Not making that horrible mistake of going bak to an ex right? :p

Otherwise, I've just been keeping myself busy working, finishing the first Darksiders, and reading a lot of the Dark Horse Conan books.

Oh, my back has been pretty fucked as of late. I've been really hoping to get back into the gym and kickboxing (because I'm a fat bastard) but my back is keeping me from doing anything. I just feel like I'm getting old. Speaking of which my bday is coming up in October. I'm not overly excited, though I will be eligible for the Geezers group we hae around here... *sigh*

I've also been thinking about my tattoos lately. I'm coming to the end of my sleeve so I need to ove on to another body part. Any suggestions? I've been thinking a lot about knuckle tattoos as of late, but I think I should finish my other arm, start on my legs, or do a chest piece. Not 100% sure yet though.

Random thought: I've been having this recurring dream lately and I think I might write a story based on it. Seems like the right thing to do right?

MMA thought: What the fuck happened to UFC 151? Really kind of sucks they had to cancel it, but if the card wasn't so shitty, maybe losing the main event wouldn't have been so bad.
