I don't mean to slack. I rarely write on here. I've just been busy. Goin' back to school this summer. Only takin' two classes over the summer. Goin' full-time in the Fall. Also, been planning a charity bike run for SBKC of which I am a board member. Anyone in the midwest that rides a motorcycle, knows someone that does...anyone that has ever seen a motorcycle! Hehe.. Please come out for this. Also a great show afterwards. Some awesome music by several bands I'm friends with. Somethin' for everyone!

Thursday will hopefully be a new beginning of some new and exciting things going on in my life. More later. I'm pretty excited. And, I'll try to post more here. I do on facebook nearly continuously....lol

Happy New Year everyone! What will I be doing? Not a damn thing. As a matter of fact, this blog post could very well be a highlight. Heh..
I booked a show @ the club I book for tonight. I'm not going though because I have to fill up the other calendar. Why do musicians have to be so difficult sometimes? They aren't usually. And, it's ironic. The best bands, best musicianship..best core audience are by in large the easiest to work with. Then there are the bands that think they are Metallica...and..just aren't...LOL. Tires my ass out talking to them. The show tonight should go well. It's a cover band called Mary Goes Round. Hope it does well, for them...and for my wallet.
Couple weeks ago I booked one of my favorite shows last month. It was because I had never heard of the band. And, they KICKED ASS! They were super cool dudes too. They are Radio City. myspace.com/radiocitymusic

Pretty awesome. I have them booked again tomorrow. Really excited.

Wow..
I suck at blogging. Well, for once, I've been really busy. I bought a house in May. That rocks. But, the newest change in my life is I finally have a job that will hopefully turn into a lucrative career at some point. I book bands. I do this with a partner. We book shows in Kansas City, as well as all over the surrounding areas. My first show was the other night in Wichita,Kansas @ America's Pub. The band was Sellers Wray out of Knoxville,Tn. They sound a little like Nickelback. Heh.. But, they are pros. So, I wish for the success. My second gig that I set up the same band, plus two others is in Topeka,Kansas is tomorrow night at The Boobie Trap.
Looking forward to it. I also have several shows booked in the very near future. A couple New Years shows....etc. Things are pretty exciting.

Ughhh!!! I went to my "interview". It turned out to just be an assessment. And there were like 20 other people there that were there for a "1 PM interview" too. Kinda a drag. It was a 3 hour testing session. Now, they call me back in 2 or three days for the "next step in the process".
Applied for a job today at a job fair. It was really cool. The place has serious security! Damn! Hehe,,,The introduction to the job went well. Watched a video, watched at PowerPoint presentation. There were just 6 of us. The Preliminary evaluation went cool. Now, we wait for the first of several interviews. First one on the 24th. Wish me luck.!
