I got the beginnings of a lot of new ink today! And I LOVE it! Roger(from Star City Tattoos, Roanoke) always does an excellent job! It's of the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland (part of my sleeve). I'll try to get a pic or 2 up soon.
It's almost unreal how awesome it looks and how it blends in with the rest of my arm! Roger's the best!
Asides from ink, not a lot of excitement. Had a real life "Cops" episode outside our apartment the other evening, though. If I had that song "Bad Boys"...I would have blared it out the window while it was all unfolding! Some woman chased her boyfriend/husband out of their apartment with a baseball bat and called the cops on him. They came and pulled guns on him and rushed him (he had a knife, although he wasn't threatening the cops. He just wouldn't take his hands out of his pockets when they asked him to.). It was hilarious! I think crack might have been a factor...
Lets see...Spring has finally sprung! I officially no longer like cold weather at all. I used to think moving to Toronto would be a great idea, because it is fun there,,,but I think I would perish. So...we've decided (I'm relatively sure, anyway) on eventually migrating to Florida. Yep. The sunshine state.
We have been out a few times to drink since the last time I wrote. And, yes, I did get intoxi...inhebri...piss drunk!
But, I didn't get any major hangovers, which is a good thing. Water is the secret for that! And a dear friend provided me with some Klonipins (sp?) for those moments when I need to zone out. She GAVE them to me. That's a great friend!
I've been updating my Myspace page. Although I hate Myspace it is a great place to make some new friends! I have often thought of cancelling the account...but, it seems to be immortal.
Gotta go deal with lawyers tomorrow over my Mom's estate. I hate stuff like that. I'll be glad when it's all over and done with.
Gonna go now. I'm making chicken fajitas for dinner and I like to get some of the stuff ready early.

I had a couple of fun shoots this past Friday and Saturday. The one on Saturday was a blast...and paid quite well! I worked with this really great model named Laura Smooth and we shaved our heads and did a bunch of fun pics! I have to admit, I was a bit nervous about shaving my head (on video also, none the less) but I had an amazingly great time...and we look awesome together in these pics! I have put a few of my faves up. I plan to work with her again!
The shoot on Friday was also fun, but would have been a lot more so had I not been suffering from a horrific headache!
I managed to make it through, though...and the pictures are amazing! I'll try to get a couple of those up soon, as well.
Today, we're meeting with the guy who I'm doing the Wiccan video (You Tube) with for a preview of the film. I guess he wants to see if I like it before it goes up. I'm excited about this. He's done a lot of documenteries and stuff and knows how to put film together, so it should be interesting. Of course, the outakes from this thing would be a riot! There was one incident where a torch was involved and, unfortunately, the girl had no idea how to run with it. And the director himself nearly had a mishap with it! They were behind me and I could feel and hear the flame rushing past me, a bit too close for comfort! There was also the moment where I was xupposed to be giving a serious speech and suddenly, out of nowhere, appears the guy's 10 year old nephew and his dog. They ran between me and the camerman and I cracked up!
Ah, such fun! Supposedly, if this thing does well on You Tube...he plans to invest more and make an actual film out of it. That's down the road, though...
I'm supoosed to be getting a bunch more ink!!
It's just a matter of coming up with the designs I want and setting aside the time! I'm also in the process of stretching my own lobes out. I went to get the piercer to do it and she told me a great trick on how to do it myself, with no pain. (So far there's no pain, anyway.) I'm working my way up to 1/2". Might go bigger eventually. As for the ink, I think I'll keep my head shaved at least until I get some more ink there! That might be the first one I get.
Hmmm, well, asides from that not a lot happening. I'm hoping after we review the film tonight, we can go out for a drink(s). Haven't done that in awhile. I'm kinda glad I'm cutting back on the booze...but, still, I do like to get plastered once in a blue moon!
Just added the pics. I had to shrink them way down, so the quality kinda sucks...but at least you can get the idea!

Had a couple of shoots in DC over the weekend. And I was supposed to do this part for a certain movie (which I hesitate to name because I feel I've jinxed it for myself already. For the 3rd time, though, the guy making the movie has come up with a "change of plans" at the last minute. I'm having serious doubts about this one...even wondering if it's a game of some sort. It's not like I'll be broken hearted if I'm not in the movie...I think I'll survive! I've never had any dreams of being a "star".
Unless, of course, I could make a billion dollars in one fell swoop!
And this other (Wiccan) movie (a You-Tube thing) is supposedly almost ready to go up. Ever notice how when you talk about things before they actually happen they have a way of just not happening?
Oh, well...
Anyway, the shoots went well. Still waiting on the pics from those. Will post some when I have them! One of these took place at a really cool hotel called the Helix in DC which the photgrapher paid for! He even took us out and bought us drinks...a really sweet guy! This hotel was sooooo cool. It was decorated like the 60's and had all kinds of wild colors and decorations and stuff. Finding it was a bit of a problem...driving in DC is hell on earth! But, after getting lost in some really ritzy looking neighborhood, we finally made it and had a great time! While we were there we went out for Ethiopian food (Saturday night). It was even better than I thought it would be. And the fun thing was you had to eat it all with just your fingers!
I wish there was an Ethiopian place here. I can make some of the dishes, but they're time consuming!
I know, I don't write much on here lately, but I just seem to hit these "ruts" where I absolutely hate writing! And, also, I find myself too busy most of the time these days! Asides from modeling, I've been helping a neighbor pack to move. In return she's given me some cool stuff like art supplies and a cabinet. Gonna miss her!
Lets see...I have a couple more shoots this weekend! One of them is raking in a nice chunk of money!
Part of the deal, though, is I have to pull a Brittany and shave my head!
I've shaved my head many times before, though, so it's not that big a deal...just gonna feel a bit funny doing it on film! Maybe while it's shaved I'll take some of my money and get something tattooed on the other side of it! I have a dragon on one side. The question is...what?! Maybe a spiderweb....
I've been wishing my friend would move back, but, I guess when you move to L.A. (or any other cool city), there's no way in hell you'd come back to Roanoke! It's BORING here! But, I wish she would move back because I miss our Champaign movie nights and going out clubbing nights...plus we had so much in common. I rarely find people I can talk to as well as I could to her. We were a LOT alike!
She would also be great to do a shoot with. We talked about it several times when she was here, just never got around to it! Who knows, though...maybe we'll get together in L.A. some day and still do it!
Right now I'm cooking Sausage Jambalya to have for dinner (I LOVE to cook!) and I'm trying to get our apartment back in order. Tomorrow I think I'll go help my neighbor some more. There's also another lady who just wants me to help her get her stuff organized. Apparently she was a ton of stuff and will also give me odds and ends in return for the help. That's more fun than money sometimes!
Craig (my husband) and I are thinking of moving to Florida. No reason to be here anymore, asides from my brothers, and it would give them an excuse to get out and travel more. Assuming they're not mad at me. I guess we'll make new friends there. Just gotta find the right crowd. Most people our age don't seem to really want to asociate with us (I think we're too off the wall). And frankly, I don't feel comfortable around tham at all, either. We don't do church. Not into "community" events. So...we'll have to find some fave bars and a night club or 2. I'm sure we'll manage!
I think in a few days I'll go get my ears stretched again. Craig bought me these cool skull plugs on Ebay and I'm dying to see what they look like! (Skulls are one of my fave things!) He also bought me a great book the other day about Edie Sedgwick called "Edie: Girl On Fire". I've adored her since I first read about her in "Edie: An American Biography" back in the early 80's. This new book is GREAT!! Lot's of beautiful pictures! And there's a CD of her talking (I haven't played it yet...but I'm sure it will be fascinating! Maybe one of these days I'll grow up.
But, geez...I still get all excied about stuff like new books about Edie and music and roadtrips. I had a shitty childhood and teenhood...even my 20's rather sucked. So, I guess I'm just making up for it now! hehe...

Yesterday was gorgeous (70 + degrees) and we had SO MUCH FUN!!
First of all, I had to do a bit more filming for this Wiccan movie project I mentioned earlier.( I'm having a lot of fun with this by the way.) But it wasn't just the filming that was fun. It was a lot of different elements that added up to one amazing day!
We had to go on a bit of a roadtrip, first off. I LOVE road trips! Before we left, however, I bought 3 great mineral specimens from the local rock dealer (no...not that kind of rock! I'm not a crackhead!) I collect rock and fossils. So that got my day started off just right.
Once we got to our destination, we got to meet the owner of a really great haunted house. He was in the process of closing it down for the winter...but he gave Craig (my husband), Tom (my film guy) and me a private tour of the house...complete with all the props! It was scary, too!
The scariest part being the absolute pitch blackness we were wandering around in, trying to make it through a maze! I would kill to live in that house! It had lots of Gargoyles, which I LOVE! And, it was a really old actual house that was once a summer rental back in the 20's. Just beautiful!
And all the props and creatures and things were all made by the guy who gave us the tour. We even got a tour of his studio and saw a lot of neat stuff!
Then there was a makeshift Stonehenge (another creation of the haunted house guy) which we visited to do more filming. It really was cool...albeit there was lot of mud of which I managed to collect quite a bit on my boots! But...I've always loved mud, so it wasn't all bad!
Then we had lunch with the haunted house guy and his wife at this really cool little cafe that was 50's themed. And we got to see more of his "sculptures" there! Truly amazing stuff! One of these days I hope we can go back with our digital camera and take some pics!
Then, after all of the fun of filming and stuff, we drove back home. Craig and I then decided to go downtown and spend a bit of my earnings (yes...I'm actually getting paid each time I do filming!) We went to our fave bar where we downed a few drinks and chatted with a few friends. And, per the norm, I got anhialated!
It was pretty much downhill from there. Came home. Ate Knockwurst. Cuddled. Watched videos....
And now, it is the next day...and yes, I do have a bit of a hangover. But...it's another GORGEOUS day!

Since July was the last time I updated this, and since SonOfAPunk so blatantly told me to do it, here I am. I can't say that I've been away having a great time. My mom died in August. In fact, we had to pull life support. So, not fun at all. But, things are starting to get back to normal now. Although I (and my brother, too) find myself starting to call her to tell her something.
I did a photoshoot during my absence, of which I posted my fave pic of the bunch in my "Pics of Guess Who" folder. I'm supposed to be going to talk to someone about a part in an off the wall movie today. I think this could be fun. We'll see what happens. Sometimes these things don't pan out for one reason or another(although I can draw all kinds of conclusions) .
There's a possibility we may be moving to either Florida or Toronto...which I would love to do. I think a change of scenery would be great right now. Of course, I'd miss my brother and friends...although we haven't really seen that much of our friends lately. But...on the flip side, there would be SO much to do...and new people to meet.
We haven't even been out drinking like we used to do. We decided to go have "one" the other day...which, naturally, turned into way more than one. All I can say is, I'm WAY out of practice!
(I didn't actually get sick...but I had a hangover from hell!)
I'm hoping to get some more ink done soon. I just have to come up with an idea. I know...this is going to be an awfully short update...but I have to go and get ready to meet this movie guy. We're supposed to be there in a couple of hours. So...'til later!
Update:
Well...we met with the guy about the movie and it seems I have the part...and he's going to write more for it and make it a bigger character. I'm going to be an evil high priestess of black magic!
I don't want to spill too much yet, until we've actually started filming. Sometimes, that seems to jinx things. But, at any rate...sounds interesting so far...

Good god! It's MONDAY! I HATE Mondays! Especially when nothing really worth writing about happened. It's so boring here I'm starting to name the spiders that occasionally drift through. Too bad they're not from Mars...I could call myself Ziggy Stardust and start a band...
...
Ok...I can see I'm off on a silliness roll. And I'm completely sober. Soon, we hope to see Pirates of the Carribean 2 and I would also like to see Clerks 2. I have a job prospect...if they ever call and if they decide they like me after the interview...assuming I actually get one. The last time they interviewed me, I don't think the woman liked me. Probably because I answered their stupid questions truthfully (example of one of my answers: NO, I would NOT tell if I saw someone stealing something. It would be discovered eventually...why should I become a snitch?) At least I'm assuming that's one of the reasons I didn't get hired. This time, though, I gave them answers I thought they'd like to hear.
Just like a good sheep.
So...we have to go out and do stuff today. I hope that there's a bar moment in there somewhere. Haven't had one of those in awhile. Sure, I'm so "dry" I'll probably have 2 drinks and make a drunken asshole out of myself...but that's OK. I've done it before...one more time won't hurt...unless I happen to be sitting near my future interviewer...

Today, I got this really cool Cephalapod Bunny in the mail (see avatar)! My good friend Nico (aka NiceTiger...who used to be a member here) sent it to me. It's the coolest thing ever! I had never heard of these, so he was sweet enough to actually buy one and send it to me. It's a really cute bunny with tentacles. He also sent me a book about the bunny, which is really out there...but cool. It's the first time anyone on here has sent me anything...so, I'm quite happily surprised!
