NEW TATTOO!

Was done by Matt from Tattoo Uk at the Tattoo Freeze convention. Very pleased: Five hours of work means that I limped around to host the rest of the weekend, but had a blast. Met a load of cool people and even had to sign a few copies of my column in Skin Deep magazine. Also had some offers for free tattoos from some fantastic artists - I'll be taking them up on that.

For the uninitiated by the way, the tattoo is Vega from the Streetfighter series in their new abstract artwork style (matches Akuma on my left leg)

Now for some sleep.

I was way tempted to pop down to Tattoo Freeze at the weekend. From the pictures I've seen it looked like a corker!

Ah, thank you for the words of reassurance. I think it may be down to the being the 30 year old underachiever with a strong urge to settle down and the start of my biological clock ticking away in the last year... my doctor put it to me flatly stating that my health issues at the start of last year were due to severe hormone fluctuations in that my body was trying to get me/imitate pregnancy which sometimes happens to women when they get into their late twenties/early thirties and are childless, apparently. How reassuring!

Would be nice to be doing something a bit more enjoyable and less stress inducing work wise, but I should just be fortunate that I have work at the moment, really.

How's the ole comedy circuit? I passed Frankie Boyle last month on the street outside my house (he lives in the area, I think). He looked concerningly miserable. x

Also, loving your new tattoo.
