I had kind of a rough day today... I cried alot, and I laughed alot, all in rememberance of somebody that I loved very much. It was her birthday today...and I felt bad because I didn't remember right away that today was her day. She was a dear friend, one who I could count on always, and her name was Elizabeth.

This blog is dedicated to anybody who has owned and loved an animal the way that I loved my Elizabeth. She was my first dog ever, and she was smart, and funny, and tenacious, and loving, and she was a gentle, sweet soul that mothered all of our boxers to follow:

In my profile, the answer to the question about my most humbling moment is "when I held my beloved Elizabeth while she was being put down"... I'll never forget her, or that moment.
