So...this is cute. I've been um-ing and ah-ing about a SG membership for ages now - about six months or so. I said to myself that I'd get one in the new year, and, well, it's eighteen days into January so I thought it was time. I suppose this is more of an introduction blog, but I think I need a blog so I'll be using this one often.

ANYWAY.

My name is Jen. I'm roughly twenty years old in body, much older in spirit. I live in Devon, which is great if you want a quiet life. I do, so...yeah. I have no plans to ever move away. Yet. If my life suddenly takes a turn for the exciting and moving becomes a necessity, it'll happen.

ANYWAY.

I work in the local Co-Op. It's fun. I do enjoy my job. Some of the customers are cunts but they're fortunately few and far between. I don't go to uni or anything, but saying that in March I'll be registering with the Open Uni for a course in Creative Writing.

That's right, I want to be a writer. I like to think I'm VERY GOOD at writing, and taking the aforementioned course is just something for me to do with my time, but I know I'll learn something.

I'm writing a book. It's a fantasy novel aimed at adults. I hate the term "young adults" because it's just fucking stupid. I've been writing this novel for nigh-on five years, but I think I've finally got a handle on it. It'll be done by the end of the year.

Well, I fucking hope so, I'm getting a bit bored.

I also draw things. I write music sometimes, too. I'm basically an artistic nightmare.

I also have a really short attention span, and I've lost my train of thought here. I'm gonna go and do something that makes me seem like a right wanker.
