On Twitter the other day, I noticed a girl I was following (who is an amateur model) favorited a tweet by another girl that read, "Ew, why am I so fat today?"
Two things wrong with this:
1.) The tweet was posted by a thin, pretty girl who had no business talking about herself that way.
2.) My friend who favorited it is also thin and gorgeous.
I don't get it; why do chicks like them have such a negative body image? Naturally, I want to blame the media, but ultimately they have to take responsibility for themselves. Nobody is perfect, but calling yourself fat isn't going to make yourself any skinnier. It's times like that where I want to find those girls and shake them until they cut the shit!
