my rock band guitar is broken!

my rock band drum set is broken!

my guitar hero 3 wireless guitar is broken, too!

ea will send me replacement rock band equipment for free, but the guitar hero guitar is just days outside the 60-day warranty!!

my wireless guitar and played nicely with it every single day. i didn't even remove the neck for fear of snapping the internal pins. this is what i get? breaking on me when i get back from a long road trip!?

There's an actual technical reason for the Rock Band guitar breaking...I actually know a couple of people who work at Harmonix, and there was a manufacturing fuck-up that pretty much ruined the first run of the guitars. It sucks, but they're replacing all guitars for free, so that's freaking awesome.

As for the drums, I don't know the reason behind that one, but I do know that they've fixed the specific issue.

So, the bad news? A lot of broken guitars and drums (and hearts!). The good news? The ones you get back will be 100% working for a long time, or so the rumor goes.

So cry not! 'Twas not your fault, and all will be right in the world soon enough! Rockage will be had, and hopefully my ridiculously long explanation will be of some comfort in the meantime.

As for Guitar Hero 3? I can't help with that one.

my rockband stopped working too!! everytime i put the disc in, it says "please put this disc in an xbox 360 console" its SO STUPID!
