Poly Styrene of X Ray Spex died over the weekend after a suffering with breast cancer that rapidly spread to even her spine. She was a hero to me always and I insist the world is a less beautiful place without her. I hope more generations will research her legendary and untouched visions. She was a true original making me still proud of a culture so exploited, we forget those who glorified being so awkward in a cruel, crazy world.

The rest of my life continues to go batshit, I refuse to even acknowledge how low bc I'm depressed.

I will be returning to Philly asap to sort through my possessions in storage, rent a UHaul and begin life again in my beautiful home land of Brooklyn, oh how I've missed my "Candy", as sung to in Iggy Pop's duet with this lady.

It's currently thunder & lightning in Brooklyn & I have 2 appts tomorrow for rooms for rent! I'm so excited, I never imagined finding opportunities here over night. One of my aunts has offered to help me with my first month of rent & my social work friends are still sniffing out programs of assistance for me.

Can you imagine this? I made this for Chris for Valentine's Day 2010. It's a card of about 3 inches in height & that is an actual mirror scrap that I glued to it. Is it not crazily beautiful? I returned to Philly last night for my final cannonball & saw that he had the card placed smack in the middle of some cute ceramics (some of which I had given him) above his computer. It's so best-friend-romantic!

Well, I am typing on the Bolt Bus right now. Should be arriving in NYC soon & crazily looking forward to arriving at my social worker Mike's house where we plan to make dinner and be super lazy.

Back when I used to squat and do volunteer work to stay off the streets and hope now to possibly find a new squat, why not. Volunteer work is no question, I will return to ABC No Rio & Books Through Bars. I am super nervous about going to a shelter though. I'm hoping to still have squat connections.

Since you asked (lulz), my goodbye to Chris today was very sweet. I was so honored by the way he leaned his head on me when we hugged goodbye. It was a wonderful day & the final night was so happy for Daisy that she took to nibbling my arms from the reunion excitement.

I will miss my babies.

I AM GOING HOME TO BROOKLYN!

1. Gee, what a shame that the girl from Brooklyn has to now go home to Brooklyn. I'd hate to have to be in my home city where all of my family & supportive friends are?! My friends who actually work in psychiatric social work are just urging me to come home & they will help with my case in getting me into housing programs & I can't believe my good luck! I was supposed to do this months ago but got caught up in calamity in Philly. Well it's ON now!

2. I need to watch my food and start an exercise program of some sort bc my stomach which resembles a cupcake grafted to an otherwise petite body is like, not cute to me anymore. I need to be careful.

3. It seems people on tumblr respond better to my non-naked photographs, hence this picture I'm showing you. The kids loved it. I thought everyone just wanted to look at tits but maybe that's only HERE?

4. Sadly we bought me some cigarettes with my SSD money that cleared today. I was doing my scratching routine ala Black Swan and the cigarettes helped me stop as my skin got really raw and burned. I also did what I have to do when I start doing that & that is cut my nails off.

5. My friend Nick is working on filming a documentary about me. He lives in Ohio & will be traveling to meet with me apparently...he has lots of money so God bless him.

6. Chris is helping me right now find a storage space in Philly for my possessions while I head off to Brooklyn. I'm trying to talk him into taking my bed which has a wood frame - it was a $770 GOOD quality futon, none of that metal shit. I hope he can use it. If not, storage.

7. Tonight we're picking our friend Ethan up to hang out & celebrate. I got Ethan a 40 of Colt 45 already & he is my raddest new friend. He's 20 & my host's best friend. The 3 of us together are dangerously cute. Matter of fact....



8. ^^^ This is Ethan on the night we met bonding over Denny's ice cream topped with bacon! Look at me all Morrissey holding some flowers. We are adorable!

9. I'm so excited to just GO HOME and be near my family and best friends. I know my Nanny & Poppy will be overjoyed, they are my biggest supporters.

well i spoke too soon, the girl who promised her room for rent changed her mind over night. it doesn't surprise me but i am really saddened by this turn.

i've spoken to different shelters in Delaware, one more useless than the next to the extent that my friends' dad has just said "tell her to just keep looking for rooms for rent" in Philly.

i'm super bummed. this is my latest update, i haven't really spoken much on tumblr or FB about it.
