Seriously....is Arrested Development not the best fucking show in years? Im SO pissed they took it off the air. I normally hate sitcoms, but that was fucking BRILLIANT!

My family had a psycho cat like that..She provided hours of entertainment when I was little....We probably traumatized her into being a psycho..

The fantastical Horror movies like Jeepers Creepers, Zombie movies and Friday the thirteenth and the like... I get and I enjoy for their campiness. But, Saw, Hostel and the current ones my younger roommate brings home from the rental store, sort of push at some sort of boundary in me too.

Glad to know someone else sort of feels the same. The moment when I knew horror movies were moving beyond my senses was the last scene of SE7EN. When Brad Pitts Character looks into the box. I had to just leave the theatre when I realized what was in there. I went for along walk and just fell into myself. And my GF and her friends at the time, who were younger than me, were all , " what's the big deal????"

I wonder if all this type of very sensational, anti-irony, torture / slasher horror movie is a reaction or reflection to the current situation in America with the immoral war and the suspension of certain civil liberties. That, and the one up man ship of every film maker in the genre to find the next gross out point to hype a high concept idea enough to sell product.

But, the Holocaust is this strange sacred horror to me. ( As my Family were on both sides of that war - the British side survived the Blitz and Danish side broke apart into resistors / partizans and one uncle joined the Waffen SS ) So, I find the the original documentary footage is sobering to say the least. Especially now that colour footage of the events is being unearthed and shown on T.V. now.

But, with a generation growing up with the internet and 24 hour coverage of events like 911. Maybe that footage doesn't pull at the heart anymore.

It does to me....

I had oral surgery quite a lot over the last two years, I sympathise Good on you to be getting back to work so soon! People just don't get how terrible it makes you feel, it was just so horrible. All the best, and thanks so very much for reading my little random piece xxx
