MLS BOG EXPLORING POSSIBILITY OF REDUCING ROSTER SIZES TO 24 PLAYERS

The MLS BOG Friday is expected to discuss the possibility of reducing the size of team rosters from 28 to 24 players and eliminating the league's reserve division, a supplementary league that features an additional 20 players per team who can be called up to join the primary roster. The discussion will take place during the afternoon session of the BOG's meeting at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in L.A. An announcement regarding that discussion and other league business is expected at Commissioner Don Garber's press conference Friday at 7:00pm ET.
