I just looked at my favorite suicidegirls for the first time in ages, and I saw a lot of faces that I didn't recognize. I removed a lot of them, but I think I was a little more conservative with my rampant "remove from faves" button mashing than I ought to have been.
That said, I believe I have come to a realization ... I don't particularly care for pin-up girls. The kind of girl I'm interested in just doesn't typically have a pin-up girl mentality. That's a rather vague, over-generalized, and possibly offensive thing to say, I know, so allow me to make a poor attempt at elaborating ...
First of all, don't get me wrong ... tits and ass are great! But the devil himself is renowned for his courtesy, class, sympathy, and taste, and so do all the girls that tend to hold my interest. I like devilish girls. That said:
Making cutesy faces in front of a camera (or just in general) - not attractive
PSFB so that we'll like you more - not attractive
Flashing tits just because they're tits - not attractive
Being "alternative" (I choke on that word) just for the sake of being different - not attractive (EDIT: BEWARE TATTOOS AND PIERCINGS ... when done well, they're awesome ... but they could also make you just another trendy ass poseur.)
I get vibes like that from a lot of the sets that go up.
Now, it's not ALL bad. I did find some sets that I liked, but I had to look long and hard (HAHA long and hard.)
Beat - Sphinx
She just looks like a troubled girl.
And yes, it's got it's moments where it looks like a Brody Dalle tribute, but hey, isn't SG just a huge Betty Paige tribute in a way?
Set out to kill - Dice
This one is just Dice being Dice, and from what I can tell Dice is a pretty kickass girl to be.
There are a few shots in there that seem a little cheap, but I didn't even notice the first time I looked through it because the rest of the set was so damn awesome.
Just Passing Through - Atlas
I really liked this set. Atlas seems very real in it, I almost forget that she's modeling (except for a few stray pics and all the makeup. Sigh.)
The Morning After The Night - Dang
This one is still in member review, somehow, and it's one of the best sets I've ever come across (no pun intended.

The thing I love most about this set is how natural it seems. None of the poses or faces seem like simple artifices of seduction. The girl isn't stuck on herself, and just seems natural and happy. It's gotta be something in the water here in Vallejo, CA. Fakeness doesn't fly.

One thing I wish I could do is favorite sets instead of girls. There are quite a few girls out there with one or two phenomenal sets but the rest of their work just doesn't tickle my fancy. Then again, when it comes to attraction, I've always been a damned fool.

try clicking the "edit" then save button and see if that changes the size, I know it does with comments.

yeah, I've had to do that a few times. You can also resize them manually like this: [IMG |000x000]url[ /IMG]
Just remove the spaces and add a scaled size .
