I mentioned on here that I hate....and I mean hate the BCS bowl system in college football. You win by vote....like ice skating, gymnastics, and dancing with the stars. The NFL, you have to play the games and sometimes a team with 6 loses beats the no loss team. This is why I love the NFL, the NBA, March Madness, and Tennis. You have to play the games to win and sometimes, just sometimes crazy things happen. Thank you Giants and thank you Patriots. My daughter and I stayed up watching the game and we had a blast. This is why sports is the only real reality tv. It is unpredictable, exciting, and flat out fun.
Ok...tomorrow=Super Tuesday. Everyone needs to vote. I would prefer Hillary....but please do just vote.
The real question is now.....if she takes the nomination can she take some independent voters from McCain? Tough question....he is strong there and the Republicans would come out to vote against her.

You know...I love my wife but I just cannot switch cars with her. Background now.....
She had my car for three days for a business trip with other people riding. I pull out two of her cds and put in Joy Division Closer - 2cd set with live stuff. I get through it a few times over the course of three days but I am not paying attention and it goes over to the next CD....what do I get....Fergie. Now I have Fergulicious (spelling) in my head a little.....ick.
So...I get my car back today. 1. My XM is not working for some reason. (Antennae was a problem but fixed now). 2. Junk is everywhere.....I am one of those people that brings my stuff into the house...she is one that leaves everything...purse, books, coat, trash, coffee cups...in the car. 3. The gas tank is dead empty. So...I stop on the way to filler up. 4. She also left all her bags...and hanging clothes in the trunk. So..I brought that in and hung it up too.
Ok....maybe I am a little OCD (sometime a lot OCD) but my god.....I even took my cds back out of her car before handing it over. I had my car washed when I handed it over. Nuts....just the way it is I guess. One of the little things that make me crazy but there are many other in the good column.
Moving on....I feel better now.

Well Hillary takes Florida. This is a two horse race now. The rest may as well drop it. I really can't believe McCain is on such a roll. It is good to see as he has typically been a little more center than some of the crazies.
On a hilarious note....who even watched the State of the Union? Lamest of all lame ducks in the short history of US politics. I can't remember someone so disliked among both sides.
On a depressing note....I went ahead and spent $23 on the Collectors Edition of Joy Division Closer. Yes, I already had it. Yes, I bought it because I desperately wanted the live cd attached to it. It is a depressing state of current music that I am spending money this way. Though it is good and I may end up getting the same version of Unknown Pleasures for the same reason. It just annoys me that they stacked these on top of one another to force you into rebuying the CD. Give me the live stuff seperate you fascists.

Ok.....Hilary took a pounding in SC. The good news is that the primary vote was huge for Democrats in SC. It gives me a flicker of hope that one day before I die, my vote will count in a Presidential election. Yes, I voted for Bill both times and both times my homestate was a part of the Empire.
Another odd thing went on for me this weekend. I had a conversation at church with 2 white males in suits that both voted in the Democratic primary the previous day. Understand, in SC you can only vote in one primary...Republican or Democratic.....not both. So, well....it was surreal for me. Talking politics in a church with two other white males and not being looked at like I am a total nutter. You have to understand that just about all white men in SC of voting age seem to be hardcore right wing conservatives. Not middle the road.....RIGHT...FAR RIGHT.
On a lighter note....Sharapova destroyed Ivanovic down under and I watched it not once...but twice. I am such a perv. The enjoyment of watching young women (both 20) run around a court and scream. "Uhh...uhhh". "Come on!" Well....I can dream...right?

I almost bought a $22 version of Joy Division Closer for the live stuff simply because nothing else was fitting my current musical pallet. That is depressing. Inspire me dammit! Make me listen to you over and over. Wilco - Sky Blue Sky was the last CD to do this to me. Radiohead is ok....but nothing great there. I am dumpster diving for stuff in my past right now. Somebody save me!

First things first. Was in Atlanta for business yesterday. I have always seen the urban sprawled areas of Atlanta and the downtown area. Downtown/midtown are nice but I have always hated the traffic and the urban sprawl of everything to the perimeter and down 400. Was in Virginia Heights yesterday, what a wonderful part of town. That is by far, the best of a southern city.
OK....to the embarrassment of riches part of the program. Ana Ivanovic vs. Sharapova in the Aussie Open Finals. I may turn the volume off and put on some Barry White during this match.

Well Hilary is on a roll. I am happy for her. And more importantly, my homestate of SC surprisingly did not give the nod to Huckabee. Thank God! Now I don't have to here Bill Maher slander our whole state next week on HBO. Now voting time.....Democratic Primary in my state happens Saturday.....Go Hilary!

Thoughts this morning.
1. Lets get this straight....I am in the South and love College Football. The SEC rules...ok. The Pac Ten is second. Then there is everyone else.
2. With basketball it is all about the ACC and the Big East.

4. I have built up a tolerence for alcohol due to my daily wine drinking. I don't really feel it anymore.....it does, however, put me to sleep.

Then my woman Hilary gets spanked by Oprah and the man in the pocket of the Labor Unions. Depressing....hang in there girl....there is still hope.
