Thanksgiving was a good time; lots of rich and totally unhealthy yet delicious foods to eat. I very much enjoyed cooking for Jenny's family on two occasions as well.

I might be one of the only people I know who goes on vacation just to cook for friends in other parts of the country

Still have a little more time on vacation, and I just hope the relaxation continues as it has been.

I landed in Detroit at 1 and it was a bit chilly in NY that morning, but to see all the snow in MI was crazy. Then wearing a cocktail dress, walking in heels in the snow in the middle of nowhere was cooold!!!! I haven't been outside yet. I'm afraid of the storm that is supposed to happen on Wednesday here and in NY and I have to connect in Philly.

I've just been to see my doctor and he's given me at least a week of "low risk" activity to ensure I don't do myself more damage. So, yeah, no work for a week. You bet I'm kicking back and taking it easy.

yeah, actually. but not in the 'i got married' way, but in the 'i'm with the person i'm going to marry and i see the whole world through a different lens' way. it's nice.
