Did you know that in 1971 Amando De Ossorio's Tombs Of The Blind Dead was initially released in the US under the title Revenge From Planet Ape because the distributor wanted to cash in on the Planet Of The Apes success and reasoned the blind monk masks looked kinda like skeletal ape faces. True story!

Things are upside down in the personal life and up and down in the convention/professional life. Everything sort of pays off when you get an email from someone like Link Number 2 of the Human Centipede, Ashley C. Williams. True, not a huge achievement by any stretch of the imagination, but pretty cool for a schlub like me.
Outside of that I've just been going to a lot of concerts (Alice Cooper, The Misfits, Birthday Massacre, William Control, Aesthetic Perfection, Creature Feature). Visited with Kara a few weeks back. Haven't seen her since SG Seattle used to have weekly karaoke way back when. And been hanging out with Al on a semi-regular basis too, oddly enough. Kind of makes me nostalgic for the old days of SG.
Well that's pretty much all I have for now. I have a meeting with a record company exec in the coming weeks which I hope will yield favorable results for an event I'm planning. We'll see how that pans out. My motto is hope for the best, prepare for the worst. But the worst that could happen is......nothing.
Anyway, happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends. Or as those of you from parts more distant might know it, Thursday.

It was on a night like tonight almost 9 years to the day that I became a member of Suicidegirls. I'm equally as lonely, sad and pathetic. But on the plus side I'm older. Wait....what?!
