I made a music video!



I expect the people from The Grammy's to be calling any day now.

I'm not really on here much lately. I've been busy as hell and it's awesome! Besides work, and hanging with my son, I'm either somewhere taking pictures/video or learning to edit it. I've put together a couple simple live videos of friends of mine.

We've got all the footage we need for a Nathan Arizona & The New Mexicans music video for their first single. That should be out soon. Now, to learm how to put it together!

So, I got to shoot the album cover for my favorite band.



They also happen to be really great friends of mine. So, if you have the time, check them out, like them on Bookface, listen to their stuff, etc... The new album should be out in a month or so. I'm stoked!!!

I spend about three nights a week going to see live music. I always took iPhone pics, so I figured I should get a real camera and take REAL pictures...

All of these pics are unedited. I haven't quite gotten into light room enough to do anything besides crop and copyright stuff. I figure if I can get the best pics I can without having to edit, when I do start changing things I can make them really sick! Right?
As there are a ton of great photographers around here, if any of you happen to read this, feel free to throw any tips or advice at me. That would be great.

My weekend was fucking awesome! Saturday night, in Charlotte, I caught the Band of Horses/My Morning Jacket show. Amazing.



Sunday afternoon we went and had some brunch here:



It's a little spot tucked away in downtown Charlotte. The food is great. And our waitresses, a blonde and a brunette both named Ashley, were very easy on the eyes. Best Bloody Mary I've had in a long time too.

That night our cabbie, "KG", came to pick us up for the Phish show. This dude drove his ass off! He's crazy as hell. It was like a mix of being terrified but not being able to stop laughing the whole ride. He took care of us all weekend and we hooked him up with a fat ol' tip for it.

So by that time, we were all well intoxicated on a potion of various dranks and smokes. Obviously, we needed to drink more, smoke the OG Kush, and terrorize downtown in a monkey suit right?

I'm really tired of the restaurant bidness. It's a fucking shit show. I think Monday I'm going to apply for a photo lab job a friend is vacating. Off by 6 every day and weekends off? Hell yes! I hope I get it. And I hope they don't mind my tattoos and stretched ears.

What you know about Al Green!? And being alone and shit. lol

I spent the last three days fucking RAGING with these fellas. I don't have many brain cells left. What a blast!
